1 ~ Secrets

"y/n!!" Amelia aka Mrs Min, excitedly called for her daughter who was in her room as usual while Mrs Min was in the living room watching TV, or should we say dramas of her favourite skinny idols. Y/n knows her mother is busy watching the repeated telecast of her favourite drama's episode which she also watched last night bcoz her mom is so obsessed with them, just like several other females in Korea. Y/n was almost there at the point of graduating college, she was waiting for her result mail to arrive. Y/n has always been a brilliant student, not only in school but in college as well. While her own brother Yongsun was never into studies, just like other mafia kids are, he too was interested in killing and fighting. Yongsun dropped out school after completing his 10th to be mafia like his father Yoongi, who was and still is the most dangerous mafia of the world, not just Korea.

As the time passed and the kids grew up, yoongi's power and mafia empire grew rapidly. At this point, no other mafia or underworld wanted a beef with him, they know he holds the power to destroy their whole family. And he even did, but he never threatened anybody's family who was innocent. He only killed his enemies when they made a move first and threatened to harm his wife and kids. Nothing is more important to him than his precious family. And yoongi can fight the whole world if it comes on the protection of his small little family.

"Y/N!!!" Mrs Min yelled again "can't you hear me?!"

"Coming mom!" Y/n threw her phone on the mattress and went to her mom "why are you shouting?"

"I called you several times! Do you have hearing problems?" Mrs min said. No matter how many arguments they do, how many times they prank eachother and pull each other's leg, the relationship of a mother and daughter was always filled with sweet-sweet love.

"Liar! You only said once!" Y/n said. "Get straight to the point! What do you want?"

"Talk nicely to your mother first!" Mrs Min said.

"How can I help you dear mother?"

"That's better! Sit here" Mrs Min said and y/n sat besides her. Mrs Min grabbed the advertisement poster from the coffee table infront of her and showed it y/n.

"Another adventure land?" Y/n said "how many do they plan to open? Probably they want people to move out so that they can successfully announce Korea as land of kiddish fairs and rides"

"Read properly!" Mrs Min said "it's not just any fair with rides but also a market for locals and their handmade products. They also have a terot card booth!"

"Mom, you've already bought enough decoration items. We don't have space for more." Y/n said.

"Your dad don't like to see the same furniture for more than 2 year." Mrs Min said and after all there was lie in it. Yoongi was the richest man in Korea. One of his hobbies was buying the latest furniture and paintings. He wanted his mansion to look like house of art.

"Let's go for the terot card reading!" Mrs Min said.

"Mom! What century do you live in?" Y/n said "you really believe in all these things? They'll just tell you basic facts about every human life in today's world!"

"Don't be too modern! Terot cards tell the truth about your present and future." Mrs Min said "we'll visit the booth this evening. Be ready at 6!"

Y/n couldn't fight what her mom said, it was always like a command not only for her but everyone in the house.

Later that evening she visited that newly opened local fair with her mother. As expected Mrs Min took y/n to that terot card booth. It was like a big tent type place where the owner had so many magical and mysterious items for sale and a big table in the centre with a big glass ball and cards all around the table. She wore a weird mask covering her whole face.

Y/n could only see her ocean blue eyes which seemed hypnotizing. Mrs Min asked for the fortune of her family while y/n only thought about how fake this all looked. Obviously, for someone like her who holds bold thoughts about life, tarot cards and fortune tellers had no space in her life. But Mrs Min still wasn't satisfied with what she got from the lady owner.

"Please tell me about my daughter's future." Mrs Min requested.

The lady took her cards, shuffled them and took 4 cards out and kept them infront of her. The lady looked at the cards with anxious expressions.

"What does it say?" Mrs Min asked.

"I'm worried you might not like it Madam." She said "probably your daughter is hiding something really important from you!"

"What?!" Y/n said "that's stupid. Is this what those stupid cards say?!"

"You must not leave, my dear. It's dangerous there, people are waiting to harm you!" The lady said.

"I don't understand!" Mrs Min said "what danger? Please explain!"

The lady took out another card and smiled while putting it on the table "she'll be fine. Her destiny is calling her. In order to meet him, she have to risk it."

"Mom! Let's go! This lady is throwing some fake predictions." Y/n said standing up. Mrs Min paid the lady and left the tent with a worried face while y/n waited to take the change left.

"Be careful y/n!!" The lady said "the next few months are going to be difficult but you must not give up!"

Y/n found it so annoying, she left the tent without taking the change left. But stopped, she was sure she never mentioned her name, not even her mother. How did that lady know her name?

She wanted to go back and ask. All of the things that lady said made no sense and sounded so annoying to her. But there was one thing that lady was right about.

Y/n was keeping a secret from her family and her father wasn't going to like it.
