Luke drove back to college today. Before he left, he made sure that all the Xanax pills were gone and thrown out, he made sure that I wouldn't be able to call from the pharmacy anymore and he told me that if anything bad happens, I have to call him. And I told him the same thing.
After he left, I decided to call up Jackson because I was feeling lonely. He was in school and I wasn't, which, by the way, was super rare because I never missed a day at school. Hence all my awards for Attendance.
But this year, it's different.
However, right before I was going to dial up Jackson, the unknown number calls me. Anxiety arises from my stomach and I turn to grab my pills but remember that their all gone. Their all gone.
"Hello?"
"It's been a long ass time, don't ya think?"
"A-Axel?"
"Yeah...listen to me, Aliyah, you're looking for answers about your Father, correct?"
"Yes, I-I am!"
I quickly grabbed a pad and a pencil, eager for him to give me details. Or anything. It's been a long ass time, and I'm eager.
"Meet me at Flamingoes, I'll tell you everything, I promise. And come alone."
"I will. And make sure you don't run away again."
I could hear a light chuckle which left me confused before the phone call ended.
I stopped being lazy and got up from my bed, I then headed towards the washroom to take a shower and get ready.

I was wearing high waisted vintage dark denim jeans and a white sleeved crop top that had 3 buttons. My hair was straightened and I wore my white Nike Air Forces. I wasn't going to impress anyone, hell, with this outfit, I don't think I would even able to impress myself. And anyway, who are we even going to be impressing? Axel? Yeah, no thanks.
I parked my car near the curb before entering in, I saw Axel alone at a booth, sipping his coffee whilst eating a pastry.
As I walked towards him, he noticed my presence and he put his donut down and quickly sipped his coffee before talking.
"Aliyah, it's good to see you." He says, his voice still husky and griff.
I sat across from him in the booth and I ordered myself a chocolate milkshake. Because who doesn't like drinking milkshakes while talking to potential crazy people?
"You were right, your Dad is an innocent man." He states, his tone laced with some sort of disappointment while his expression was smothered with....betrayal?
"Actually, I'm starting to question myself if my Father is actually an innocent man. Now that I think about it, I didn't even know if I knew him at all. I could easily just be the daughter of a notorious serial killer, and hopefully, I'm not." I state as I sipped my milkshake, a look of sadness noticeable in my eyes.
Axel chuckled lightly before running his hand through his hair, and for a second, just for a second, he reminded me a lot of Xavier. And that thought gave me an uneasy feeling in my stomach.
"I know you know that Xavier is my half-brother. It seems like you guys are close." Axel states, his eyes infixed on mine.
I shrug, "I don't know. Xavier is not the topic of discussion though, my Father is. And you better tell me what's going on right now. I'm looking for answers, Axel." I state, my tone hinted with desperation.
