- aliyah -

I insisted on letting stay Luke stay at my house for just a couple more days before he's ready to go back to college.

"Aliyah, I'm fine! I don't need your assistance! I'll just be a liability!" Luke said as we were driving back to my house after a week at the hospital.

"Luke, you're one of my best friends and also my longest friend I ever had. So, it's my obligation to take care of you when no one else could." I replied, turning my head to Luke, wanting to see the smirk plastered onto his pretty face.

"Whatever, Jones. Suit yourself, I'll take advantage of this, and once we get home, I'll be laying on the couch asking you to bring me McDonalds." He chuckles lightly.

"Whatever Luke, I'll always be here for you even if you want McDonalds."

We made it to my house in 20 minutes, I parked my car on the driveway before waking Luke up from his nap.

"Luke, wake up! We're home!" I say annoyed, already knowing what I have to do if Luke won't wake up. He was a heavy sleeper, which is why I have no choice but to get him out of the car myself.

As I stepped out of my car, I saw a few cars parked against the curb of my street and recognized that all my friends are here, in my house, waiting for me to get home.

Oh God, all of them are finally gonna meet Luke, but in the worst circumstances ever.

I then pulled Luke out of the car and wrapped my arms around his shoulder, I then walked him to my porch with his whole body weight leaning against me which by the way was not fun because he was a tall, heavy boy.

I then opened my door to see all my friends in the living room watching a movie, making themselves feel at home (which was totally fine).

I sighed before closing my front door loudly to let them know I'm here.

"Aliyah! Where were you? You've been gone for the pasta week and you haven't even called or texted! We all thought you were dead!" Rachel exclaims as she threw popcorn in her mouth.

"Sorry, I just had to deal with something." I say as I hint towards Luke, the big, tall guy, sleeping right on my shoulder.

"Oh, well...who's he?" She asked, checking out Luke although Carter was right beside her.

"His name is Luke. He's cute ain't he?" Kenzie chipped in, a smile plastered on her face and her eyes totally in love as she stared at Luke sleeping against my shoulder.

"You need help bringing him upstairs?" Alex offered as he stood up,

"Sure, I could use the help." I reply.
As Alex held Luke on the right side and I held Like on his left side, we both began to walk up the stairs, thus resulting in an akward conversation between Alex and I as we held Luke between us.

"So how did you guys get in my house?" I asked, confused because none of them had access into my house yet.

"You left the door unlocked." Alex answered, as we headed into the room, basically throwing Luke onto the bed.
