❝just a second!❞ donghyuck shouted at mark who kept on ringing his apartment's doorbell. he just woke up late today and he thanked the gods above that his son is an early bird and woke him up just an hour before school starts.

donghyuck just finished taking a bath after yijun and he haven't made breakfast for them and he still haven't done his math assignment, which is his first subject at school every wednesday. he just wish that mr.kang will spare him for not doing his assignment and not send him to detention.

❝yijun, please open the door for me!❞ donghyuck shouted as the ringing of the doorbell never stopped and he was still packing his son's things.

❝okie!❞ the baby said as he went to the door and opened it to see the same girl who gave him his papa's notebook. ❝hi ms.pretty lady!❞ baby yijun waved at the girl.

the girl just smiled before crouching down to meet the boy's height. ❝do you want me to call papa?❞ the baby asked while already walking away to go to his papa but the lady stopped him by holding his wrist.

❝no need to call your papa. i'm here for you.❞ the lady said as she let go of her hold from the baby's wrist. she then reached to her back pocket of her jeans and grabbed a candy.

❝i heard you liked lollipops, here.❞ the girl said as she unwrapped the candy and gave it to yijun the next second. the baby didn't questioned a thing and just ate the candy.

❝i-i feel d-dizzy miss──❞ yijun didn't get to finish his words as he suddenly blacked out and the girl luckily caught the baby on time before he could hit the ground.

❝from now on, you're going to call me mommy.❞ the girl said as she put on her mouth mask and her black sunglasses before going out of the apartment with the baby in her arms. she slowly closed the door, making sure that donghyuck wont hear the door close and she successfully did it.

she was about to ran away but a guy bumped into her on her way out of donghyuck's apartment gate. the guy she bumped into was mark and he seems like he didn't really paid much attention to them.

the girl sighed in relief and quicken her speed but a hand grabbed her by her hair and forcefully made her face the person. ❝where do you think you're going with donghyuck's child?❞ mark asked, tightening his hold on the girl's hair every second that passes by.

❝l-let me go.❞ the girl whimpered as she tried to get mark's firm grip off from her hair.

❝and why should i? you're obviously kidnapping my friend's son.❞ mark said and threw the girl's head as he let go of his grip and grabbed baby yijun from her hold.

❝give him back! i have the rights to take yijun with me! i am his mother.❞ the girl tried to get yijun back but mark had turned his back from her and started walking back to donghyuck's apartment.

❝you left yijun to donghyuck when he was still a baby who obviously also needed a mother not just a papa. and i think you really don't have the rights to have yijun, since ya know, you left him.❞ mark sarcastically said as he opened the door of donghyuck's apartment.

❝you know nothing about my past with donghyuck! i'm going to have my family back and you can't do anything about that mark lee! donghyuck will never be yours.❞ the girl shouted as she gets on her car and drove off.

❝there you are!❞ donghyuck said as he grabbed yijun from mark's arms. ❝what happened to him?❞

mark honestly also doesn't know what really happened to yijun and he doesn't know if he should tell donghyuck about the baby's mother and what had just happened earlier. ❝he just suddenly fell asleep.❞ mark answered.

❝oh, yijun isn't usually a heavy sleeper in the day.❞ donghyuck stated as he looked at his son who looks completely fast asleep.

❝anyways, we're getting late for school. mark please do me a favour and help me carry his things. yijun is kinda getting heavy this days.❞ donghyuck said as he grabbed yijun's baby bag and gave it to mark while he wears his backpack.

❝you should just carry yijun. let me carry your backpack.❞ mark said as he watch donghyuck struggles on carrying his almost three years old son.

❝no i'm fine. let's just get yijun to taeyong hyung's house.❞ donghyuck said as they went out of the apartment and locked the door.

but mark insisted on carrying donghyuck's backpack and donghyuck didn't have any choice. it's mark we're talking about, he'll never stop bothering donghyuck that he'll just be the one to carry donghyuck's backpack and just carry yijun.

❝thanks again for everything.❞ donghyuck said as both of them had finally arrived at their school just in time after dropping yijun at taeyong's house.

❝i didn't even do anything though.❞ mark said as both of them walked through the busy hallways. he took a quick glance at donghyuck and saw him playing with his backpack straps.

❝i saw what you did earlier with the girl who tried to kidnap yijun. thank you from saving my son. what did she even told you anyways?❞

❝she told me that she was kidnapping yijun for money. she must probably know about your relationship with the lee corporation.❞ 

❝what? how? i've been keeping it as a secret that i'm the missing son of the lee corporation for three years. how could they possibly know? you and our friends are the only ones who knows about it.❞ donghyuck said as he started getting nervous at every step that they take towards his room. he just wish that mr.kang is absent for today.

❝we'll talk about that later, good luck with mr.kang.❞ mark patted donghyuck's head like he was some kid before walking away and donghyuck was questioning everything that just happened today.

was that really the mark he knows? the mark that he has a crush on? how the hell did he suddenly became a confident gay? ❝must just be my imagination.❞ donghyuck shook his head and composed himself before cautiously opening his classroom door.

he sighed in relief after seeing that mr.kang was still not there. he quickly sat on the very back with renjun. ❝you wouldn't believe what just happened earlier with mark.❞ donghyuck said while grabbing his notebook in math for him to do the assignment at the last minute.

❝oh my gosh... you two are dating now?!❞ renjun suddenly exclaimed which sent donghyuck into a mini heart attack.

❝keep your voice low you idiot. we're not dating... well, we're kinda getting there── just let me finish this assignment first.❞ donghyuck said as he opened his notebook to the page where he needs to do his assignment.

❝how's yijun by the way?❞ renjun asked as he watch his best friend do his assignment.

❝you're such an idiot! what if mark saw your face?! we're going to end up in prison you stupid girl!❞ the older girl shouted as she started slapping her sister's face nonstop.

the younger tried her best to not produce any more tears while getting slapped nonstop or she might get a worse punishment than getting slapped. ❝i said i'm sorry okay?! i just want my son back and... and donghyuck.❞

❝i'm that desperate. i'm so sorry.❞
