❝papa! can we have that teddy?!❞ yijun exclaimed as he tapped mark's shoulder as a signal to put him down on the ground. once he was down, he quickly ran towards where he spot the giant teddy bear which is his soon to be best friend.

❝i'll be hard to get that, let's just buy you one at the mall.❞ donghyuck stated after seeing that the sign that for you to order to win the giant teddy bear that his son badly wants, you need to shoot all the cups off from the table.

but yijun was stubborn. he wants the teddy bear now. ❝i hate you papa!❞ the baby shouted before running off from them.

❝lee yijun! come back!❞ donghyuck shouted as he quickly ran after his son. mark just stood on his place and watched donghyuck ran after his upset son.

he didn't know what got into him once donghyuck and yijun was out of his sight, but next thing he knew, he was now getting money from his wallet. ❝one game please.❞

❝yijun!❞ donghyuck gasped when his son bumped into a girl and caused for her drink to spill all over her white tshirt. he quickly pulled yijun away from the girl and hid the baby behind him.

❝i'm so sorry, miss.❞ donghyuck quickly said as he took a low bow at the girl. ❝i really am.❞ the boy kept on apologizing.

❝it's fine donghyuck. it's not yijun's fault, i wasn't looking on my way.❞ the girl said making donghyuck to quickly look up and saw minjing with nari behind her.

❝m-minjing... i...❞ the boy stuttered as he turned his back from the girls and quickly carrying his son. ❝anyways, i'm so sorry again. i'll make it up to you tomorrow. i need to find someone.❞ donghyuck quickly said before hurriedly walking away to find mark.

❝i'm sorry,❞ baby yijun whispered quietly and despite of the noise that's surrounding them, donghyuck was still able to hear his son. ❝papa.❞ yijun whispered yet again while playing with his papa's heart necklace as he didn't want to make any eye contact with him for now.

yijun feels guilty for shouting at his papa earlier and for running away from him.

❝there you are!❞ the two heard mark's voice. yijun quickly removed his attention from his papa's necklace and tried to find his marker within the crowd of people.

a giant teddy bear then suddenly appeared right in front of the baby and donghyuck. yijun had his eyes sparkling after seeing that his marker was the one who was carrying the giant teddy bear.

❝you must be kidding me.❞ donghyuck groaned as he saw a glimpse of mark smiling cheekily before hiding behind the giant teddy bear.

yijun then started tapping donghyuck's shoulder as a signal that he wanted to go down. at first, donghyuck thought that yijun wanted to tell him something but seeing him point the ground made him realized that the baby wanted to go down and not tell him something.

once his son was back on the ground, yijun didn't waste a second and hugged the teddy bear. ❝his name is going to be chan! channie is now my best friend!❞ the baby said after pulling away from the teddy bear and going behind it.

❝marker, you're the best!❞

donghyuck didn't know what has gotten into him that he badly wanted to separate mark and yijun. he know that he is being selfish but you can't blame him. yijun had been wanting to spend more time with mark who's still a complete stranger to him as they just met like two weeks ago, instead of his own father.

the boy can't stand seeing his son and mark acting like they're father and son and so, he left. he left his son with mark.

he knows that it was probably a bad idea but he knows for sure that if he ever takes yijun away from mark, the baby will still find a way to meet mark.

he walked and walked around the amusement park while drowning in his own thoughts.

and just like yijun earlier with minjing, he bumped into a girl but this time, no drink was spilled. they just bumped into each other. that's it.

❝sorry.❞ donghyuck bowed, not bothering to look at the girl and just continued on walking but a hand held his wrist that made him stop on his tracks.

he first looked his wrist and stared at it for a good minute before looking at the owner of the hand. ❝may i help you?❞

❝it's really you!❞ the girl exclaimed before engulfing donghyuck in a tight hug. the boy was so confused, who in their right mind suddenly hugs someone without telling them who they are? even if he knows them or not.

❝you can't remember me, can you?❞ the girl suddenly said after pulling away and composing herself. donghyuck just raised a brow at her.

❝i'm lee chaerin, your childhood best friend. partner in crimes.❞ the girl said while getting something from her sling bag and showing it to donghyuck. it was a picture and it has donghyuck in it with a girl. they were acting silly and happy in the picture.

❝that girl is me.❞

❝okay...?❞

❝do you remember me now?❞

❝i think so...?❞

❝you know what? don't even try to remember me, your head might start hurting.❞ chaerin quickly said and donghyuck just nodded.

❝did you come here with someone or are you all alone?❞ chaerin suddenly asked which made donghyuck step backwards from the girl. ❝hey, i'm not weird okay? i'm just curious since you have a baby bag with you.❞ the girl quickly added.

❝i came here with someone.❞ donghyuck said and the girl suddenly started wiggling her eyebrows. ❝what are you doing?❞ donghyuck questioned the girl who looks like she was about to explode any minute from now.

❝is it a boy? is he the mark lee renjun kept texting me about?❞ the girl asked and donghyuck just nodded as he didn't wanted to talk with the girl anymore. he was starting to get weirded out by her.

❝i knew you were gay from the start! it's a good thing you broke up with that nari girl.❞ chaerin said which made donghyuck furrowed his brows at the familiar name. did chaerin just said nari?

❝what are you talking about?❞ donghyuck asked, suddenly gaining interest on who the girl really is.

❝oh you know... that lee nari or nana, as what you like to call her, ex-girlfriend of yours.❞ the girl said and donghyuck sighed in relief. he's just glad that it's a lee and not a choi and that they just have the same name. he don't know what he'll do if the choi nari, his new friend, is actually the mother of yijun.

he will never let that girl get near his son as long as he is breathing.
