❝okay, yijun, he's uncle no jam, don't spend too much time with him, alright?❞ jaemin said to yijun while pointing jeno who was obviously annoyed by jaemin telling the baby that he got no jams.

❝my name is jeno not no jam!❞ jeno whined as he sat beside renjun on the couch and stared at jaemin who's having fun talking with the baby.

❝uncle jeno, i can make an acrostic poem with your name!❞ yijun suddenly said and everyone inside the living room anticipated for the baby's acrostic poem for jeno's name.

❝je!❞ chenle said and the baby smiled cheekily.

❝uncle jeno!❞ (it's actually "jeno samchon" in korean, please bare with me lmao. someone remind me what i'm doing tbh please)

❝no!❞ jeno shouted.

yijun giggled first before continuing. ❝no jam!❞ the baby said making everyone burst into a fit of laughter.

❝you sure you're not my son?❞ chenle suddenly asked after remembering the time he also did that with jeno's name but instead of uncle, it was hyung.

❝yes! i'm only papa and daddy's baby!❞ yijun said as he pointed at the couple by the kitchen who were obviously in their own world, the food they were cooking had been long forgotten.

❝seeing you up close, you look like mark hyung instead of donghyuck hyung, why is that?❞ jeno suddenly said as yijun sat between him and renjun. the baby stared at jeno for some seconds before turning to look at his uncle injunnie.

❝is he your boyfriend?❞ yijun suddenly asked his uncle renjun while pointing jeno. renjun blushed by yijun's words and quickly shook his head as a no.

❝nope. uncle injunnie is forever alone.❞

❝no~ uncle injunnie can't be forever alone!❞

❝why?❞

❝because uncle injunnie needs to give baby yijunnie a playmate like uncle tyongie.❞ the baby said all innocently and it surely made renjun choke in thin air.

❝yah! what have you been feeding your son donghyuck!❞ renjun yelled while the others laughed at the conversation he was having with baby yijun.

❝you know what? uncle injunnie might not give baby yijunnie a playmate, i'm a fucking male for goddamn sake! i can't possibly get pregnant.❞ renjun accidentally cursed right in front of the baby. yijun raised a brow as he found some words that are unfamiliar.

❝fucking? goddamn? what does that mean uncle junnie?❞ yijun asked.

❝you shouldn't say that, it's bad.❞ renjun tried to explain why the words he just said were bad but it was no use and yijun somehow found the words amusing.

❝oh, like daddy fucking papa?❞ the baby suddenly said after 'understanding' what the word means.

❝renjun, what have you done?!❞ jaemin dramatically exclaimed and the older could just roll his eyes at him before going back to panic mode.

renjun is surely dead once taeyong and donghyuck finds out about him cursing in front of baby yijun. ❝what is uncle lele and uncle jiji doing?❞ the baby suddenly asked after spotting the two maknaes of his papa's group of friends at the corner of the sofa, kissing.

❝they're just eating.❞ jaemin said, earning a deadly glare from jeno and a punch on the arms by renjun.

❝oh~ is eating a new term for kissing? i saw papa and daddy doing that yesterday at our bedroom.❞ yijun said as the rest of his uncles started choking in thin air. how could mark and donghyuck make out in front of a kid?

❝i've never seen a two year old kid that knows so many things. when i was hiss age, i still don't know how to talk properly and ran.❞ jeno suddenly voiced out his thoughts.

❝hey guys, do you want a pineapple on your pizza or nah?❞ donghyuck came inside the living room to ask. he was making food for all of them after mark had invited them over to his apartment. mark had told them that donghyuck wanted to tell something important.

basically, mark forced donghyuck to tell their friends about yijun. at first donghyuck was so against it but he can't do anything by then since mark had already told the guys to come at donghyuck's apartment.

mark told him that they can trust their friends. donghyuck at first doubted all of them (except for renjun of course, since he already knew about yijun and donghyuck and him had been friends since forever) but seeing how they treat yijun as if the baby was the most precious thing in the whole wide universe made him realize that they can be trusted and he was just listening to his devil who surely likes to make up lies.

❝can i have a honey on my pizza?❞ jeno suddenly said and donghyuck looked at the others, waiting for their answers.

❝i don't like pineapple on my pizza.❞ jaemin said while fake vomiting.

❝i don't understand this.❞ mark whined as he tried to peel off the garlic's skin.

donghyuck just got back to his own work after getting back from the living room to see his lover struggling to peel off the skin of the garlic.

he then grabbed the pizza that's on the table and put it in the oven before going to help his mark.

❝what are you even trying to cook?❞ donghyuck asked as he scanned the ingredients scattered in front of mark. there was an onion, evaporated milk, ground pepper, three nestle cream in a small carton and many more.

❝i'm trying to cook a carbonara sauce.❞

❝you know how to cook it?❞

❝of course, that's the only thing my mom had taught me before i got kicked out. her ingredients are a bit different from the ones in restaurants but it still taste the same. i really had a hard time remembering how to make it, that's why i wanted you to teach me how to cook before.❞

❝oh...❞ donghyuck looked down on the ground after hearing the reason behind on why mark badly wants to learn how to cook properly.

❝do you need any help?❞ the younger quickly asked as he saw mark starting to tear up. he was now cutting the onions.

❝y-yes please.❞ the older said as he wiped away his tears.

donghyuck just chuckled at how the onions quickly made mark cry. he grabbed a handful of salt and placed it on the top side of the cutting board. mark looked at him, confusion plastered on his face.

the younger smiled and ruffled mark's hair before saying the reason for placing a handful of salt on the cutting board. ❝my mom once told me to place salt at the top of the cutting board whenever you're cutting onions. she said it prevents you from crying.❞
