Sam POV
It's been a few months since our manager let us be closer during videos, and Colby and I have been using that freedom a lot. We've made a few jokes once in a while, and the fans started to go crazy.
It was now my 21st birthday, which I wasn't that thrilled about. It was now the time of my life where I didn't really care anymore about my birthday. I mean, yeah I'm happy about it being my birthday, but I just don't really see the point of celebrating or anything anymore.
I walked out of my bedroom and went downstairs, seeing everyone sitting in the kitchen. They turn to me and smile.
"Happy birthday, Sa-" Elton starts before I walk in and stop them.
"Thanks, but I really don't care." I say. I walk to the fridge and opened it for food, knowing that they looked shocked.
"Why? You're 21 years old now!" Aaron said happily.
"So?" I asked.
"Is there something wrong, Sam?" Colby asked. I shook my head, leaning back as I continued looking for something to eat.
"No, I'm fine. I just don't see the point of doing anything anymore. I'm an adult now, and feel like I should just spend this as a normal day, you know?" I say bluntly. I turn around, they look back and forth from each other before nodding.
"Well, we had a surprise party planned so... should I cancel it?" Elton said.
"I mean, as long as we don't treat it as a birthday party or anything, I'm fine with having a party." I say.
"Yes, we get to have cake!" Corey says excitedly.

Later that day, I was standing in the living room, turning on the TV to watch YouTube when I felt a pair of arms wrap around me from behind.
I turn around and see Colby smiling widely. I chuckle a bit.
"Hello there." I say, smiling. He hums in response before placing a huge kiss on my cheek. He takes on hand off me and raises it in the air.
I look up and see him holding a mistletoe above us. He smirks and laughs. "Where did you get that, huh?" I ask.
"From da garage. I wanna decorate for Christmas." He says in a childish voice.
"Don't you think it's too early?" I say. He frowns.
"It's never too early for Christmas." He says, still talking with a child voice.
"We can decorate when it gets closer." I say, removing myself from his grasp, but he immediately pulls be back and groans.
"Ahhhh I wanna decorate now!!" He says, complaining. I roll my eyes.
"Hey, it's November 27th. 3 more days and then you can decorate." I say as he groans even more loudly. "Oh my God, Colby! You've never wanted to decorate this badly before."
"Because maybe all I want for Christmaaaas is youuuu!" He sings loudly, rocking us back and forth. I laugh when I hear Corey yell for him to shut up.
"Did you drink, Cole?" I say. He shakes his head and stops humming the song.
"I'm just happy!" He says, back in his child voice. He lifts up the mistletoe once more and places a huge kiss on my lips before skipping off. I laugh and go back to turning on the TV.
