I finally sat down in my seat after putting my suitcase inside the cubby. This has got to be one of the easiest flight trips I have ever taken in my life. Now, it is time for the relaxing part. I put on my headphones so I can listen to music and just sit back. It takes about 5 hours to go from New York to LA. I should just be sleeping most of the flight to kill some time.

I mean, I did sleep kind of late last night so I am going to sleep so that I can have some energy for later. When I arrive at the apartment later, I want to start unpacking as soon as possible. I put on my Sam Smith playlist since he has some amazing songs that could be calming to me. I start to hum ' Make It To Me' as the plane starts to take off...

... You're the one, designed for me
A distant stranger, that I will complete
I know you're out there, we're meant to be
So keep your head up, and make it to me
And make it to me...

I look out the window to see us completely off the ground. I finally left. I breathe out a sigh and lay my head back. I will come back during the holidays for my friends and family and also for special occasions but other than that, I will not be seen in New York. It's ok though. This is what having a fresh start is like; not having to look back at the past. I take an Instagram story of the take-off and I caption it " Goodbye NY and hello LA!! "

After a while, I drift to sleep after a couple of songs.

* 6 hours later*

I am finally at my apartment. As I got out of the car, I stare at the tall building and smiled. I am ready for this. I take the elevator and let out a breath. I'm glad that I shipped all my boxes beforehand. I have been flying out from New York to here so that I can put the boxes inside the apartment. I unlocked the door and was greeted by the new apartment smell and big brown boxes. The last time I was here, I went to IKEA so that I can buy some necessary items and some furniture.

My apartment isn't exactly empty. I had my couch, my bed, tv stands, some lamps, and chairs, etc. I just bought some furniture pieces that I knew I needed right away after I moved here. I think I'm going to post mates some sushi after I unpack so that I can just sit down and eat. I turned on my bose speaker and started to jam as I unpack one box at a time.

...

I am literally so exhausted, but I got to finish a lot of things. I probably only had a couple of boxes left. That can wait to be put away. I already ordered some sushi to eat and I posted the video I filmed earlier today. I decided to clean myself up while I waited. I accomplished a lot today which gives me some relief because that means I won't have to do a lot as I settle down.

I finally hear a knock on my door and I looked through the peephole to see that it was the delivery guy. When I was opening up the door, I heard a couple of guys approaching the door right next to mine. I'm guessing that they're either friends with my neighbor or one of them actually lives here. I briefly made eye contact with a gorgeous looking man. I just gave a small smile as I took the sushi and thanked the delivery man.

I kid you not, I literally had a small smirk because I actually have a handsome guy as my neighbor. I decided to leave it alone and smack the smirk off my face because he probably messes around with a whole lot of girls anyway. There is no way you can be one of those girls Aspyn, no no no! I sat down and turned on my tv to watch Grey's Anatomy and just chilled the rest of the night.
