Chapter 4

* Aspyn's POV *

I am peacefully eating sushi then all of sudden I hear several bangs from the wall

"JEFFFFFF OH JEFFFFFF" I open my mouth because I am pretty sure a guy is moaning.

I'm just gonna pretend that I didn't hear any of that. I then hear a thump outside and I went to go check through the peep hole to make sure everything is alright. I see that there's a guy wobbling through my neighbor's doorway. I hear him mumbling nonsense so I'm just gonna take a guess that he's drunk.

"Come, Zane, I'm taking you home before you wreck my place" My place? Oh! The drunk guy is the friend so the other guy must be my neighbor. Wow, I just got confirmation that my neighbor is officially the hot guy next door.

I chuckle to myself because I see Zane trying to plant kisses on my neighbor's face but he keeps trying to pull away. I can't believe that I'm being entertained by some drunk dude in the hallways. My life has officially become the worst.

I head back to the living room to finish unpacking the rest of the boxes and cleaning the place up a bit more. I'm quite satisfied with the amount of things I've accomplished today. I'm gonna go shopping tomorrow for some more containers and carpet and my bed frame should be arriving from Urban Outfitters tomorrow so I'm going to put that together. After I'm done, I just lay back on the couch and put on some other show. I'm just gonna fall asleep on the couch since it's comfortable anyways and I can fall asleep while I watch TV.

*next day*

I just got home from shopping and my bed frame is already put together. I'm just gonna chill out for the rest of the day considering I've done a lot the past two days. I decide to go to the pool since it feels so nice outside today. I invited my friend Natalie to come hang with me. She's the only friend I have here in LA. We met while I was shopping and I needed her input on one of my furniture pieces a couple months back. Ever since then, we've been hanging out.

Natalie calls me to say that she's at my door. It's the perfect weather to go to the pool and get a tan. I put on my dark blue bikini and put on my shades. Natalie has a similar bathing suit but it's a red. I go ahead and grab my towel, my phone, some tanning lotion, and my speaker so that we can listen to music.

I head out to close and lock my door. As I pass by neighbor's door, I hear some shuffling inside and some laughter. He really likes to have his friends over and I can already tell that I'm going to be hearing lots of commotion later in the future with them.

I head downstairs to the pool and adjust the chair so that I can lay back and feel the warmth of the sun. The weather in Los Angeles feels so much better than New York. I put on my tanning lotion and just lay on my back. I decide to put on some music and just scroll through Instagram. Apparently, there might be a YouTuber who also lives here because I've been getting dms of people saying that the place I live at is very similar to the YouTuber's place.

I'm just gonna ignore it because who knows if what they're saying is true or not. I didn't bring it up with Natalie because she might not who it is. Anyways, Natalie and I just start to talk about some cool places to go to and check out. About 45 minutes later, I turn out so I can tan my back.

Then, I start to hear some guys yelling and I lift my head up to see what that was about. I see that my neighbor and his friends are in their swim shorts and I start to have a little freak out because I get to see if my neighbor is fit fitttttt. Oh my god, I'm acting like a 16 year old. I act normal so that they don't catch me staring at them.
