* Aspyn's POV * 

Natalie and I are back at my apartment after a long night of watching movies. I am waiting for Cassie to come with the merch so that I can take a final look. I need to take out a couple of hoodies for the squad. 

" What's the surprise chick? " she picks at her fingernails.

" You gotta wait, it's not only for you. It's for everyone else too! " I laugh at her impatience. 

" Ughhhhh " she groans.

" Patience is a virtue, you know, " I say, taking a sip of my root beer.

" You must not know me. I deal with David and everyone else. I have lotssss of patience that I didn't even know I had," Nat rolls her eyes and I give a laugh. 

I finally hear a knock on my door and I open up to see Cassie with a couple of boxes in her hand. I help her out with one of the boxes.

Natalie stands up as Cassie walks through the door. 

" Cass, this is Natalie. She's a friend of mine. Nat, this is my manager. The 'boy' you thought I was going to be with " I air quote and Natalie gives me a glare. 

Cassie walks over to Natalie to give her a handshake, " Sorry to disappoint. I'm not here to make out, I swear! " 

Natalie lightly laughs at her joke, " I didn't know who she was talking about. I assumed, so it was bad on my part. " 

Cassie turns back to me, " I brought extra just in case you wanted to give some away to your friends. "

" Perfect! Thanks, Cass " I tear open the boxes and take out the merch. I sigh in relief that they turned out very well and how I pictured them to be. 

" ASPYN YOU HAVE MERCH BABYYYY " she runs up to the counter and I give her one of the hoodies. 

" This was the surprise. You can have one or two. I'm also giving some to the squad so you technically get the first pick!! " I have a huge grin plastered on my face. 

" Oh my gosh, Aspyn!! They are so soft and they're really cute. " She pulls the hoodie that she chose over her head. " You did such a good job! These are such good quality! " 

" Thanks! It's nice to finally have it out. Just don't wear it in public yet since it's supposed to come out hopefully by the end of this week! " I put my hands on my hips due to proudness. " Cassie, do you think Friday is good? " 

" Yeah, the website is basically almost done anyways. I'll tell them that you're set for Friday. " she nods and immediately goes on her phone. 

" I also have news for youuuu " I drum my fingers together. 

" What'd you do or what do you want? " Cass crosses her arms. 

" I found out a while ago, but Andrew Gertler emailed me and wanted to set an appointment! " I jump up and down, waiting for her reaction.

" Are you pranking me? Aspyn, this isn't funny. This is great news if you aren't joking! " She claps. 

I chuckle, " It's not, I swear! "

" ASPYN OH MY GOSH I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU! " She hugs me tight, "Did you know that he's Shawn Mendes' manager?" 

" No way!  I did not know that. Well, that's cool! He said something about me joining Island Records"

" This is such great news!!! " Cassie exclaimed, "Did you respond yet?"

" Not yet, I'll call him later on today and I'll call you afterward. " I grab my phone from the couch and set a reminder to do that.
