My Fresh Air ~ Jeff Wittek

Chapter 6

* Aspyn's POV *

I pretended to act normal so I faced Natalie's way. All of a sudden, I hear the guys scream "NATALIEEEEEEEEE" and they piled on top of her. I sit up and scrunch my face up in confusion. How did they know her? 

"Oh my god, David! I didn't know you would be at Jeff's place today" I can obviously tell that Natalie in shock. David? Jeff? And why are they all good looking? IS THAT JOSH PECK?! Oh my word, what is going on? I scan to see how they look and I see my hot neighbor from next door. 

Wow Aspyn, meeting your neighbor in your bikini is a great way to start. I put my sunglasses on top of my head so that they could see my face. I don't really care that I don't have any makeup on so I ain't stressing out about what they think. 

"Well, you ARE SUPPOSED TO BE BY MY SIDE SINCE YOU'RE MY ASSISTANT!!!!" This guy dressed in black shorts and with a camera yells. Wait... he looks familiar. Is that David... Dobrik? OH! THIS IS THE VLOG SQUAD. Wow, I'm dumb.  She's his assistant? She got some explaining to do. 

I hear this loud cough from them, " AHEM! Are you going to be rude and not introduce us?!" some blonde says. Yeah, is she not gonna tell me who these people are? 

Natalie looks at me and says, "Oh right! Aspyn, these are my friends David, Todd, Jeff, Scott, Matt, Josh, Zane, and Heath. Guys, this is my friend Aspyn. She just moved here from New York!" I give them a smile and a wave. I walk up to each of them and proceed to give them hugs. I'm a hugger so they should be expecting hugs later in the future whenever I see them.

"Nice to meet you" I repeat. 

I finally end up hugging my neighbor and my gosh is he tall and fittttt!! 

"Hey what's up, I'm Jeff! I'm the actual neighbor haha. It's nice to finally meet you! Welcome to LA," he says to me. Did I say that he was hot up close? If not, let me say it again, he's hot.

" Hey, thank you! It's nice to finally meet you too. It's great that I'm meeting all of you guys so that I don't have Natalie as my only friend" I reply back. 

" Well, we come as a package so you're getting several new hot friends," David says. Yeah no kidding, Natalie is literally friends with all these hot guys and didn't have the decency to introduce me to them sooner. 

" Look Jeff, she's also from New York. She could be your honey boo thang," I think this guy is Zane. He's the drunk guy who was moaning in the hallways lol. He looks like he could be that gay best friend I could have. I'm pretty sure they're all straight though. 

" Zane, shut up! Focus on getting yourself a boo thang" Jeff said. Ok, butttttt he never denied that we could be together hehe. If he did, that would've HURTED my feelings. I need to shut up, I sound freaking ridiculous. 

I brought myself back to reality by pushing Natalie," Dude, you never told me that you were friends with my next door neighbor that was also a Youtuber!!" So the people were right about a Youtuber living here. 

" I didn't know if you knew them or not, so I decided to leave it alone just in case you weren't ready to meet new people yet." She says. I guess I could see where she was coming from so I just hummed in response. David and I started to talk about youtube and how long we've been doing it and the other guys asked me some other questions. These people seem really nice and I hope that we continue to hang. Maybe since I'm with Natalie a lot, I'll get to see them.. specifically Jeff. 

" Well, Aspyn and I are gonna get back to tanning so that it could be even and you guys can go do whatever y'all were gonna do here," Natalie tells them and I nod. I start to lay back down as the guys walk away. I snap my heads towards Natalie, " Don't kill me, but Jeff....GIRL... he is so fine," I say in disbelief. She laughs and just shakes in her head.

 " Why did I know that you were gonna be attracted to him? I can try to get y'all together or something." Natalie says as she puts her shades back on.

 "No don't do it. I don't want it to be forced. If he's somehow attracted to my potato looking self, we'll see how it goes. If not, which I could understand why," I motion my hands up and down myself, " I'd stay friends with him."

" Girl please, I caught him checking you out while you were talking to David. He definitely seems interested," Natalie commented, " I know that he and his girlfriend broke up a couple of months ago."

 "Hmm," I hummed. I just wave my hand to dismiss the conversation. I'm just gonna tan and continue listening to music. I see all the guys jumping in and splashing around. A couple of minutes pass and Todd and Jeff come up to us to give us some beer. I give them a smile and thank them. From my peripheral vision, I see Scott and David sneaking up to Natalie so that they could throw her in. I drink my beer so that I could hide my smirk from Natalie so she doesn't get suspicious.  The next thing I know, I hear Natalie scream, " DAVID STO-".

 I love these guys already. They're going to be so much to be around. I laugh at Natalie as she gets up from the pool. I immediately snap my head towards Todd and Jeff because I already knew what they were gonna do. I gave them a look to not even think about it. I start to run away but they got a hold of my arm and at this moment, I knew I was screwed.

I scream, " NO GUYS, PLEASE DONT! IM BEGGING Y- " I felt my body hit the water and I stand up to give Todd and Jeff the middle finger. They blew me kisses and I just roll my eyes. I push my hair back to get it out of my face as I get out of the water.

Zane suggest that we play the pool game, chicken. I love how these guys are all in their mid-twenties and they are still willing to fool around. Everyone in New York would've thought that the things we were doing are immature. Even though I just met these people, I feel like I've known them forever.

  I look to Jeff and I see him looking at me too. I just give him a smile so that he doesn't think I'm stalking or whatever. He gives me a nod and mouths that we're partners. I give a thumbs up in response. I turn around and I see Natalie winking at me. I splash her out of embarrassment and we both laugh. Let's see how this turns out!
