The Goddamn Anniversary

Hey guys plz leave requests I'm running out of ideas.

Today was the anniversary of Tony's parents' death. Every year, the other Avengers leave him alone so he could deal with it. But it wasn't like there were any warning signs for Peter Parker to see and understand. This morning, Peter woke up, ate breakfast and went to find Tony.

His door was locked.

Peter pushed the door open with the help of FRIDAY to see Tony really depressed, sitting on his bed.

"Hey, Mr. Stark?" Peter asks timidly.

"Get out." Was his reply.

"Umm...why? Today's Lab Day! Didn't you forget?"

"I said, get out." His tone was harsh.

"What happened?" Peter asked.

"JUST GET OUT YOU STUPID BUG!" Tony yelled.

"I'm not leaving until you tell me what's wrong." Peter declares.

Tony suddenly lunged forward and punched Peter in the gut. Peter was shocked, but recovered quickly and left immediately. He went to his room and sobbed quietly. Soon, someone knocked on his door.

"Who is it?"

"It's Pepper."

"Great. Come in please."

Pepper stepped in and closed the door.

"Peter, what Tony did was not right. Today is his parents' death anniversary. He's kinda sad. You okay though?"

"I'm fine. Is it okay if I go out now? I need to calm down too." Peter said.

"Sure, I'll try to get him to calm down too."

"Thanks, Ms. Potts." Peter put on his suit and jumped out the window. He stayed out for hours until daybreak the next day when he got a call from Pepper.

"Hey Ms. Potts."

"Hey, Peter. Can you come back to the Tower, please? Tony wants to apologize."

Peter sighed, "Can it wait until the end of Today? I'll swing by and grab my bag. I'm gonna go straight to school."

"Okay, Peter I understand. I'll tell him."

"Thanks, Pepper."

The call ended. Peter swung back to the Tower, grabbed his backpack and went right to school. Stopping in an alleyway to change.

Peter left for the Tower after school. He wasn't in a really good mood though. And he definitely wasn't excited to see Mr. Stark again after what he had done. He stepped into the elevator and told FRIDAY to bring him to the penthouse.

When he got there, (there's a weird font change right here, no idea) he saw Mr Stark pacing the living room nervously. He walked up to him.

"Hey Pete. I'm really sorry about what happened last night. I was just sad about my parents. I'm sorry. Can you please forgive me?"

Peter sighed, "I'm not like this when it comes to my parents' anniversary. I hope you'll get better at this. Okay, I'll forgive you. Now wanna watch some movies?"

Mr Stark grinned. They grabbed tubs of ice cream and jumped onto the couch, snuggling together and watching Star Wars until they fell asleep.
