Peter carefully climbed down the outside of the tower while holding Loki at his side. They shimmied around to the lowest level and dropped down. Loki stood up and gazed around in wonder.
"So this is New York, now." He said.
"Yeah, it has changed a lot."
"It is pretty nice." Loki stated.
Peter grinned. He then led Loki to the early subway and got them tickets. They went straight to Times Square and bought a bunch of junk food, eating them as fast as they could. Then, they walked to Ripley's Believe It Or Not. Loki said that in Asgard, there were more weird stuff in his room than in here. Peter had laughed lightheartedly at the comment and they left the building to go see a show in Broadway. Peter and Loki then went to a famous burger restaurant, Shake Shack and had lunch there.
They took the subway to Central Park and just relaxed there for the rest of the day, lounging on hammocks they had bought and a picnic blanket.
"Thank you, Peter." Loki said.
"For what?" Peter asked.
"For showing me around the city and trusting me like nobody else would." Loki replied.
"Everyone deserves a second chance. Well not everyone, but you definitely do," Peter took a deep breath, "you were under Thanos' control when you attacked Earth years ago. But you aren't now, you're pretty cool. No, you're awesome. I feel like you're the brother I never had."
"Guess what Peter," Loki grinned mischievously, "I am sixteen in a Earth years."
"Awesome!" Peter exclaimed in excitement.
They shared a happy afternoon together until it was time to return to the tower for dinner, since money had ran out for except a subway ticket.
On the way Loki told Peter about all the legends and myths of Asgard and Peter told Loki about memes and vines. Soon, he had projected a hologram from his watch and put the best vines of the century on for them to watch. They laughed all the way and got plenty of strange looks from people.
When they finally arrived at the tower, they saw the Avengers standing in the penthouse waiting for them.
"Sup." Peter said simply and pulled Loki over to the dinner table, not sparing a second glance at the other heroes.
"What is this?!" Loki asked, pointing at the mashed potatoes, "these look like the mush of the enemies of Asgard on the battlefield after a war."
Peter chuckled lightheartedly.
"Those are mashed potatoes. It's basically smashed potatoes that people here in Midgard eat." He explained.
"I am not eating that." Loki declared.
"Suit yourself." Peter said. He than went on to explain to Loki the different foods of Midgard and how to eat them.
The Avengers were beyond shocked to see the two interacting perfectly without blades or daggers.
"Uh kid? You know he's dangerous right?" Tony asked.
"Yeah. But that doesn't make him a bad person. He really deserves a second chance and I would gladly give it to him." Peter answered.
"But he tried to take over New York!" Steve reminded.
"Under the control of the Mad Titan. And SHIELD tried to save New York by sending a nuke." Peter informed.
Then he kept eating and talking with Loki.
From then on, the Avengers did give Loki a second chance even though he despised them.
