I Found Him! - 2

Peter went and bought some food. He and Tony ate silently, waiting for night to fall completely.

When it did, they moved silently towards the front door of the Tower. Peter snuck in first and saw the receptionist. Tony followed in, trying to be quiet but he slipped gracefully across the polished floor.

The receptionist looked up.

*Cue 'Le Gasp'*

"Oh my god." She said while dialing for security.

"Happy? Happy. There are two men in the lobby they're trying to break in please come help."

A moment later, Happy, with guards flanking his sides came in and surrounded Peter and Tony, who was still on his butt.

Peter helped him up.

"You are trespassing. Come with us and make no trouble if you want your case to be easy." Happy growled.

"Sure Hap. But our case is not easy, not easy at all." Peter flicked off his hood and did the same for Tony.

Their faces were grimy from weeks of travel and dust was on their clothes. They were barely recognizable but Happy, who had known them for a long time, knew exactly who they were.

He just gaped.

"Wassup Hogan." Tony grinned at Happy's stunned expression.

Then Happy did something no one could've ever expected.

He hugged them.

It was a bear hug and Peter couldn't believe that the Happy Hogan, the angry and bored-with-his-job driver and security guard had just hugged him and Tony.

'Wow', Peter thought, 'this is a weird day'.

"Where were you?!" Happy asked with tears in his eyes.

"HYDRA." Tony said simply. "They wante dme to build a weapon for them but I was done with that. Then Peter came." He paused, looking at the security guards and the stunned receptionist. "Let's go upstairs."

"Pepper is gonna kill you, Tony." Happy said with a grin.

"I know, believe me, I know." Tony sighed.

They went in the elevator and went up to the penthouse. The doors slid open and there was Pepper with the rest of the team, sitting in the couches.

They all looked up when the elevator door opened.

"Tony?"

"Hey Pep, I'm home."

Pepper got up and hugged Tony, like bone-crushingly hugged him. The other Avengers soon joined in and Peter just stayed in a corner with Happy, who was smiling like there was no tomorrow.

After about ten minutes, they sat down and Tony told the story. He also explained to the Avengers about Peter being Spider-Man and all that jazz and they listened to the tale. Clint was especially guilty when he learned that he had shot that arrow into Spider-Man's arm and now he had a metal arm but Peter said it was fine and he would've done the same to Clint if he was there attacking someone for HYDRA.

Everyone had a good laugh at that.

Life slowly became normal in the Tower. Full of lab days and "Clint you motherfucker my suits!" And plenty of "language"s and pranks on Spangles.

All too soon, Peter had to go back to school for his senior year.

The limo drove to the entrance of the school. Happy gave Peter one last reassuring glance before he unlocked the doors and Peter stepped out. Students were already flocking to the limo to see who it belonged to and when Peter came out, they were really surprised.

"Peter!" Ned raced towards his friend and tackled him in a hug.

"Hey Ned." Peter greeted.

"What happened?! Why weren't you at school for a year?!" He shot out questions.

Peter winced.

"I'd rather not talk about that now. Let's go inside."

They ran into MJ, who gave Peter a punch on the arm (the flesh one) and a hug. And then they ran into Flash.

"Yo Parker!" He yelled form across the hallway.

"Sup motherfucker." Peter replied, closing his locker and looking him in the eye.

"What did you just call me?" Flash seethed.

"Well, you're stupid and your an asshole and you don't know that? Well, you must be truly idiotic to believe that you might get an internship at Stark's." Peter grinned at his former bully.

Flash growled and swung his fist at Peter, who caught it effortlessly in his metal arm.

Flash screamed in pain.

"I would strongly advise you to not mess with someone who just recently came back from HYDRA with Tony Stark. Good luck with life, Eugene." Peter turned and left with his awed friends.

Let's say that Peter got a ton more respect at school.
