Another soft knocking was heard at my room door. My bones were aching. Especially my shoulders and arms. Each time I turned to a new position, I would let out a heavy breath. The knocking grew stronger. Yet again, another painful morning getting out of bed. I open the door and of course, it was Evangeline.

"Meet me in my room in ten minutes!" She whispered.

"What?" I whispered loudly.

"My room! Ten! I must abort!" She ran off slapping her Toy Story blanket across my face like if it was one of those fictional FBI coats.

Strangely, Evangeline wasn't dressed. She was wearing sleeping clothes. The same curly brown wig and black beanie were on. She was wearing a blue baggy shirt with knee length black leggings. No shoes either. Just thick winter socks with sloths designed near the front.

My phone buzzed. It was a message from my mom. She was just reminding me about a couple lab tests taking place later today.

I put on long black Nike socks. I grabbed my blanket and covered myself. I looked at myself in the mirror.

"Nope. Can't take the blanket." I mumbled to myself.

I grabbed my black beanie and black jacket and went to Evangeline's room. I knocked three times. She slowly and quietly opened the door.

"This is secret business, Beckett! What is the passcode?" She whispered.

"You didn't give me a passcode." I whispered.

"Close enough. You may enter!" She whispered excitedly.

"What's this about?" I said entering her room.

"I have a proposal." She intertwined her hands excitingly.

"Which is?" I put my hands in my jacket pockets.

"I want you to help me finish my bucket list."

I laughed. She wasn't serious, was she? Bucket lists weren't my thing.

"You're not serious." I scoffed.

"What?"

"Wait, you're serious? Like actually serious?" I sat on her bed.

"Dead serious." She smirked.

"I don't know." I mumbled.

"Look Hill, this is not important to you but it truly is important to me. You don't necessarily have to like it, you just have to help me complete it." She walked closer to me.

She was tiny. About five foot four and a half. I was five foot ten. You can already imagine.

She grabbed her list from her dream board and walked quickly towards me.

"Read number one." She pointed at the paper.

"Alright-" I scoffed.

"Hurry." She rushed.

"Okay. Number one, make the ultimate blanket fort-"

"Keep going!" She put her hands on her waist.

"Number two, watch the sunrise. Number three, make ice cream in bag- okay why am I reading these?"

"You're going to help me Beckett."

"There's like a million things written on here-"

"Wrong, there is only thirty-"

"That's a lot-"

"Not really."

"Well you've already completed 1... 2... 3... 4...-" I whispered.

"Six-"

"You've completed six. I just have to help you complete the next twenty four."

"There's a catch-"

"Which is?"

"We take Polaroids for proof."

"Seriously?" I scoffed.

What an adventure this will turn out to be. Turned out, I was correct.
