Chapter 5: Forgiven...

-After Work-

"Alright, see you guys tomorrow. Bright and early..." Geoff said as everyone groaned and mumbled a tired goodbye and started filing out.

"Hey, Ash!" Miles popped in and pulled Ash out of the room.

I giggled and watched them disappear into the break room. Someone tapped my shoulder and I jumped. I spun around and smiled.

"Hey! Would you like to come and see where you'll be staying?" Geoff asked.

I nodded and smiled, then pointed behind myself. "Uh-"

"Hey Hannah! I'm gonna go to Miles' place! I'll catch you later ok?" Ash smiled widely.

I sighed, "Alright, but if he hurts you or kidnaps you or whatever, the next time I see him i'll murder him."

"You can trust him." Kerry said. "He's harmless." He smiled and walked out of the building.

I smiled and nodded. "Alright! see you soon!" Ash smiled and hugged me. I hugged back.

She left in a jiffy and I headed out with Geoff. We got in his car and instantly we started singing.

I chuckled, "Do you constantly have Wrecking Ball on repeat?"

"I NEVER MEANT TO START A WAR!"

I'm taking that as a big time Yes. "I JUST WANTED YOU TO LET ME IN!" I sang loudly.

I looked through Geoff's playlist. I smiled as I read 'Look At Me Now' and played it. "You seriously have this in your playlist?" I giggled.

"Leggo!- yellow bottle chick, yellow bottle sippin', yellow Lamborghini, yellow top missin'. Yea yea, this shit look like a to-pay. I get what you get in ten years, in two days. Ladies love me, I'm on my cool J, if you get what I get, what would you say? She wax it all off. Mr. Miyagi-" Geoff sang. I started cracking up laughing.

By the time another song played and ended we were at his place. "Welp, here we are..." He smiled softly.

I got out and fixed my shirt. Geoff walked up the steps, I followed slightly behind. He unlocked the door and was instantly greeted by a little girl.

"Daddy! You're home!" She jumped in his arms and kissed his cheek.

"Oh! God you're getting heavy!" He chuckled and kissed the top of her head. "Nicole, this is Hannah." He pointed to me and put her down.

"Hello!" Nicole smiled and hugged me.

"Hello." I smiled and hugged her back.

"Hey baby! How was work?" A woman with blonde, short hair asked Geoff.

"Good, uhm, Griffon, this is Hannah.." He smiled softly.

"Hello! Come in! Come in! Stop crowding the front door, make yourself at home!" Griffon smiled.

I nodded and walked behind Geoff into the living room. Nicole ran to the a door and opened it, letting out a English Bull Terrier. The dog ran up to me.

"Arrow! No! Be nice!" Griffon scolded.

I smiled and knelt down to pet the dog. "Hey Pooch!" I let her kiss my face and jump on me.

"Wow..." Geoff looked shocked. "Arrow doesn't really like people... I mean she does but she doesn't do that to people..."

I looked up at him. "I love dogs, always have. They've always like me back too." I smiled and stood up, then sat on the couch, Arrow following me.

I smiled and nodded, she always have loved dogs, I remember I got her a stuffed animal of a wolf and that was her pride and joy when she was a baby, always carried it around.
