Chapter 13: More?

-Sunday-

"Hey baby girl, where you going?"

Fuck... I thought I could slip out without getting detected...

"Tina's, Ray is gone for Christmas for two weeks. Thought I'd hang out with her, keep her company." I smile.

Damn, this lying thing is getting easier, I mean, I am going to go to Tina's until Ryan's appointment is over... So it's not a total... Lie...

"Ahh, well tell her hi for me. Don't stay out to late, Gavin wants to come by and hang out." Dad smiles and kisses my forehead, then advances to the stairs.

"Alright, I'll be back soon." I wave at Griffon. She waves back and Dad stops.

"Be safe, love you." He says as he turns around to show a sincere smile.

"I will, love you too, and you too Griff!" I look her way.

"Have fun sweetheart!" She waves.

I wave and slip out of the house.

-Tina and Ray's-

"Hey you, come on in." Tina smiles.

"Hey T, I was hoping you weren't doing anything." I bite my lip, slipping in the apartment and kicking my shoes off.

Ray just had his carpets professionally cleaned before he left, I don't want to be the one to dirty them up. That's sadly Gavin's job.

"Nah, just watching old streams of Ray. I miss him... It's only been a couple of days." She sighs, plopping down on the couch.

"I can tell, you're in his clothes." I smirk slightly, I sat down beside her.

"So, are you gonna tell me now, why you asked me to cover for you a few weeks ago?" Tina asks, completely ignoring my comment.

I sigh and relaxed against the couch, crossing one leg over the other. "Ehh, it's nothing really that big right now..." I mumble.

"Not really? What is-" She stops mid-sentence. "Oh my God, is there a guy involved?" She looks at me, smiling widely. "Who is it? Is he hot? What's his name?"

Woah, calm down T... Let me answer one question at a time... Damn...

I shift and blush slightly. "To me, he is... Uhm..." Should I tell her?

"Come on Pal! Tell me!" She urges.

"Okay! Okay!" I throw my hands up. "It's Ryan... We've kinda... been sneaking around, seeing each other..."

"Holy. Shit. If Geoff finds out... oh boy..." Tina whistles.

I turn to face her. "Please don't tell, not even Ray... He might slip at work or something... I don't exactly know what we are right now but... just... don't tell." I beg.

Tina frowns. "You don't know what you guys are? What?"

"I don't know... We haven't really talked about it... It's just been a few make out sessions around lunch at work out back, or at his place." I chew on my finger and whimper slightly.

Tina shakes her head. "You gotta find out before it becomes a habit." She says.

"How do I even bring it up?"

"Just say you want to know what you guys are, I don't know." She shrugs.

Thanks T... I sigh.

"We'll see I guess." I mumble.

My phone goes off. I look down and opened my messages.

Rye: Hey, it's over. Want me to pick you up? Or?
Me: Uh, I'm at Ray's. I'll meet at your place in ten minutes.
Rye: I'm already out, I can pick you up, its freezing out...
Me: No, it's okay. I'll be there soon...
Rye: Alright, I'm heading home now.
