Henry actually asked me out. I'm finally able to call him mine. I just don't know how I'm gonna break it to Kian. He's been my best friend forever, I'm sure he'll understand. Right? I mean, I moved away and met new people, new friends. He couldn't have expected me not to end up meeting someone that I really like. He has to understand. He has to.

I don't understand. What does Henry have that I don't? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I'm taller, I'm better looking, and I've been in Jaz's life way longer than he has. She'll realize soon enough. I'm the one she wants to be with. I just need to get Henry out of the picture.

I was lying in my bed when I hear my phone go off. I smile when I see it's Henry.
Henry 😊: Hey beautiful
Jaz 💙: Hey 😊
Henry 😊: You got any plans today?
Jaz 💙: No, why?
Henry 😊: I was thinking maybe we hang out

Henry and I are having our first date today! I'm so excited. I got up and headed over to my closet. It's our first date, so I want to look cute.

Henry didn't say what we were doing, so I decided on something cute, yet casual. I couldn't wait for his text. I couldn't wait to see what we were doing. I got dressed, then my phone went off again. I assumed it was Henry, but it was Kian asking if we could hang out. I still don't know how to tell him about me and Henry. I don't want to hurt him.
Kiki 😝: Hey Jaz, can we hang?
Jazmine 😍: I'm kinda busy..
Kiki 😝: With what? You told me you were making time for me while I was here

As much as I miss hanging out with Kian, I can't face him right now. He asked me out, and now I'm with Henry. How can you face someone immediately after that? I can't. I simply put my phone down to continue getting ready. I left my hair down, brushing it into it's natural wavy state. I then put on some light makeup, smiling at the finished product when I was done.
I'm just waiting for Henry's text now. I wonder what we're gonna be doing. I can't wait. I'm so happy Henry finally asked me out. I'm happy he feels the same way. I'm happy life is actually starting to go my way.
