Just Can't Let Her Go

Gosh, this girl.

Ashley's POV

"That must've been hilarious," I laughed.

"It sure was, you should've seen her face," He cried.

I was just walking to school with Niall and he was telling me about how his cousin sat on her own birthday cake. Niall can be pretty fun to talk to. Speaking of Niall, I haven't talked to Izzy for a while now.

"Earth to Ashley!" Niall waved his hand in front of my face.

"Oh , I'm here," I said quickly.

Niall just laughed ,"Silly goose."

"I'm sorry, I was just thinking about some on,"

"Who?" He asked curiously.

"Izzy," I said looking at the school ahead of us.

"Oh, well, It looks like we're almost there," He said.

"I bet I can reach the school before you," I yelled while running off.

"Oh, You're so on!" He yelled.

I ran so fast. I never told anyone this but I was very athletic.

"Yes I win! You slow poke." I laughed.

"Wow, you run really fast," Niall said while catching his breath.

I smiled. I bet he did that on purpose.

He held my arm and I felt something strange. It wasn't a good strange just a weird strange feeling.

I looked up at him and he just smiled.

"Well then, lets go shall we?"

"Mhmm," I said still feeling a bit strange.

We entered the classroom, laughing at something.

My eyes landed on Izzy, and I could literally see fire burning in her eyes. Was she jealous? I never saw her like this before.

Then I saw Zayn sitting three rows behind her. He just scoffed.

I said bye to Niall and I took a seat next to Izzy. She just turned away.

"Izzy," I whispered.

No answer.

"Don't ignore me, we're best friends," I said.

"Sure we are," She scoffed.

Suddenly I whispered , " You like him , don't you?"

She turned around and I looked into her eyes.

"No, what the hell?! I don't," She protested.

But her eyes said something else.

"Then why are you mad at me?" I asked.

"I'm not, okay?!" She said annoyed.

"Then why aren't you talking to me?" I asked curiously.

Gosh, this girl.

"I don't know," She said.

I can tell she was holding back something.

"Izzy , please, tell me, " I pleaded.

I was about to my hand on hers but then she quickly shoved it back.

"Just stay away from me," She said

"What?"

"I said just stay away from me, stop it, stop ruining my life," Izzy almost yelled.

I couldn't believe it , after all I've done for her, she wants me to leave?

I quickly stood up and looked down at her, I don't care if i'm making a scene.

"FINE THEN, YOU KNOW WHAT?! I WILL GO, FAR AWAY. I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU'RE DOING THIS, AFTER ALL I'VE DONE, AFTER ALL WE'VE BEEN THROUGH. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHATS WRONG WITH YOU, ITS LIKE I DON'T EVEN KNOW YOU!" I yelled.

Everybody was astonished. Even Izzy. No one said a word. I swear I need this silence everyday.

I took my bag and headed for the door. My back was towards the class.

"Good bye, Izzy," I whispered. A tear rolled down my cheek. With that I closed the door and left.
