Imaginary friends (Pt. 2)

"Mon ami what the fuck" Lafayette stared blankly at John.

A few weeks had past since John and Alexander has first met. The two were both trying to ignore the fact that their imaginary friend was now the boy they extremely wanted to become their boyfriend.

John rolled his eyes. He knew he shouldn't have mentioned this to anyone. He sounded insane. He was standing in front of his two friends Lafayette and Hercules trying to explain the whole Alex is like his imaginary friend situation. Herc and Laf were sat on the couch watching John freak out. Hercules had his arm around his boyfriend Lafayette protectively. His friends were looking at John strangely as he paced back and forward.

"I'm telling you" John through his hands up in the air in frustration "he's exactly like my old imaginary friend."

Hercules raised an eyebrow "I don't know John it sounds very unlikely."

John folded his arms "I really shouldn't have told anyone."

Lafayette shrugged "maybe he shouldn't have but do you actually think he and your imaginary are connected."

"I don't know" John sighed sitting down on the couch next to Lafayette and Hercules.

Hercules frowned "dude your getting way to frustrated about this it's not that big of a deal."

"The dream boy I made up has come to my door step" John paused "of course it's a big deal!"

"John" Lafayette sighed "you're never going to comfortable around him unless you let this go."

"Alex is great" Hercules nodded "but you gotta get over this whole imaginary friend thing."

John nodded and let out a breath "Yeah, yeah your right I know your right."

"We always are" Hercules laughed.

Meanwhile Alexander was having a panic attack with the Schuyler sisters and Maria.

"Alexander this sounds a bit far fetched" Eliza shook her head softly.

"Eliza I know it does" Alexander sighed "but John is just like the John I made up when I was younger."

Angelica raised an eyebrow "Are you sure your memory is not a little dazed I mean you were really young."

Maria frowned "I think Angelica might be right here Alexander it's kinda unbelievable that you made up John and now you see an exact replica of him."

Alexander nodded "I know that that's why I'm freaking the fuck out. This shouldn't happen but it did and for god sake I just want to kiss his beautiful face."

Peggy snorted "then do it John would gladly kiss you back. Hell you would probably end up fucki-"

"What Peggy is trying to say" Eliza interrupted "is that John is clearly interested in you and you shouldn't hold back or risk your relationship just because of this imaginary friend thing."

Angelica nodded and agreed "It would be such a waste of a perfect relationship."

Alexander sat down next to the girls "yeah I guess your right but it's going to be so hard to just forget that I pictured my perfect boy exactly like him. God he is the perfect boy though."

Peggy smirked "you should know he thinks the same of you."

Alexander turned quickly towards her "he what?"

"Well he and I were hanging out on Saturday and he didn't directly say he had a crush on you but damn he spoke the world of you."

Alexander's eyes widened "are you serious?"

"Duh" Peggy smiled "John wouldn't stop going on and about you it was adorable yet extremely annoying."

Alexander eyes twinkled "so do you think if I ask him out he'll say yes?"

"Yes of course" all the girls said simultaneously.

Alexander thought for a moment "I guess I should ask him out then."

All the girls once again spoke at the same time "uh duh."

Alexander jumped of the couch a grin plastered on his face "I'm going to do it then."

"Now?" Maria raised an eyebrow.

"Right now" Alexander nodded "no holding back."

Maria smiled "go get him tiger."

Alexander quickly sprinted out of the room.

"So" Angelica turned to Peggy the second Alexander left the room "John didn't tell you directly that he liked Alex."

Peggy laughed "no of course he did whimpered all about how much he loved him."

The girls broke out into a fit of laughter.

"John!" Alexander burst through the dorms door.

John looked up from his phone partly shocked. He smiled when he saw Alexander and took off his headphones.

"Hey Alex" John sat up a little straighter "what's up?"

Alexander walked over to John's bed and sat on it "I need to talk to you about something."

John nodded and faced him "go ahead."

Alexander took a deep breath "okay so I don't want to sound stupid but ever since I met you I just can't get you off my mind. I just... I really, really like you and I don't want this to ruin our friendship but I was wondering if would like to go out some time... like as a date."

John beamed brightly "oh my god, yes, yes I'd loved to. God, I feel the exact same way I'm so glad you said this I did not have the balls to."

Alexander laughed then slowly started leaning in. John leaned in too but just before their lips met John pulled away.

Alexander frowned "oh god I'm sorry I shouldn't have-"

"No no" John shook his head "that's not it, it's just..."

"It's just?" Alexander questioned.

John sighed "God you're going to think I sound insane but um when I was little I made up this imaginary friend... well really an imaginary boyfriend and uh well I named him Alex and he kinda looks a lot and acts a lot like you."

There was silence. John watched Alexander stare at him with wide eyes.

"And I know that's weird" John continued after a long pause "but it's the truth and that's why I didn't kiss you because I really needed to get that off my chest because it all I could think about. So let's just pretend I never said that and we can just kiss."

Alexander chuckled "well John believe it or not I um don't think what your saying is weird because when I was little I made up an imaginary fri-" Alexander corrected himself "imaginary boyfriend and I named him John and he looked exactly like you and he loved turtles."

John's eyes were wide and his mouth was hung open.

Alexander smiled "I also didn't want to tell you because I thought I would sound like some sort of mad man."

John laughed "this is impossible."

Alexander joined his laughter "the impossible is suddenly possible."

"So are we some sort of soulmates" John intertwined his hands with Alexanders "or am I moving too fast."

Alexander gently kiss John's hand "not at all."

Keeping their hands intertwined John places his lips against Alexander's and filled the kiss with passion and love. Alexander kissed back with just as much love and passion squeezing John's hand.

It was better then that had imagined.
