I gave Dallas one quick hug and walked back inside behind Johnny. Two-bit quickly stood up, grabbed the bag off of Johnny, and walked to my new room. I threw my stuff on the bed and started unpacking. Two-bit was right there beside me helping me unpack the whole time. I'm surprised that he could even stand up straight from the amount of beer he had. He was even still drinking while we unpacked. When we were finished unpacking, he and I laid on the bed. I looked over and smiled, but then I remember he was drunk. I have seen drunk guys and some stuff that can happen with them. I got up and walke into the living room where the rest of the guys were sitting. They were all smiling and giggling toward each other.

"What?"

"Nothing," Ponyboy said to me while still giggling.

"Oh yeah right. Don't lie to me. It's bad for your impression."

"Okay, okay. We watched you walk into the room with Two-bit, and you guys didn't come out for a while," Johnny said. He was also still slightly laughing. He had a cute smile with a sweet, shy laugh. If you have ever seen a lost puppy that has been kicked too many times, you will get Johnny's description. He is almost always cautious, nervous, and shakey.

"We were unpacking. We were not doing anything weird, creeps."

"Man, calm down. We were just messing around," Steve laughs out. I have a smart remark in my mind, so I decide to be a wisecracker. I blow on my fingers and rub them on my shirt.

"I'm a woman, not a man."

I got laughs from everyone even Steve. We all sat down to play cards, watch Mickey, and eat chocolate cake. It was about eleven at night when everyone stopped and went to there own houses. I followed Darry down the hallway toward my room since his room is across from mine. We say goodnight to each other and walk into our own rooms. I change into a large t-shirt and baggy pants, and I hop into my bed. My eyelids continuously get heavier and heavier until they straight drop. I was getting shaken when I woke up with Darry holding both of my shoulders. My whole body was shaking, and I was sweating like a fat hog. I don't remember my dream, but it scared me half to death.

"Sophie! Sophie! You're awake!" Darry said loudly but quietly at the same time.

"Wh-what happened?"

"I don't know, but you were whining, squirming around, and occasionally yelling."

"Oh no."

"Oh no what?!"

"Right before Dally moved out, I used to have these terrible nightmares when I was with my parents. Dally was the only person who ever knew about it. He was the only person who cared. It had stopped for a while, but I guess they came back. I'm scared they are going to continue."

I start to tear up, but I held the tears back as much I could. I couldn't hold it for very long until I started crying. I tried to stop since I am supposed to be some tough hood, but it all just came out. Darry pulled me into a tight hug, and I cried into his shoulder. I pull out of the hug just to see Pony yawning in the doorway.

"What are you two doing?" Pony asked.

"Don't worry about it. Nothing important."

"It was to important. Sophie just..."

I cut him off by coughing loudly and yawning. I give him a small glare.

"You know what. I'm tired. I'm going to go to bed now," I crawl back under my covers and Darry stands up. Pony walks back to his room. Darry tried to walk to his room as well, but I stop him by calling his name.

"Please don't tell anyone about the nightmares. You and Dally will be the only ones that know about them."

"I promise."

"Thank you Darry."

I am still scared of the nightmares. I don't know what I am going to do with them. Tomorrow may be better....may....
