About halfway there, I see a blue mustang filled with boys trailing me. I start to walk faster, but I was not fast enough. The boys catch up to me and park their car right in my way. They all get out and start walking towards me. They are fancier than the gang with expensive flannels and short, flooded khakis. They must be the socs Dally told me about. I start to get scared, and I probably looked it. I pray to God that they don't know i'm Dallas Winston's sister. I was petrified. One blonde soc with a lot of rings on starts talking to me and getting too close for comfort.

"Hi-a greaser. Looks like you're new around here. The greasers usually don't walk by themselves, especially a girl," he slurred, "You're kind of pretty though. NOW!"

The whole group of socs came at me. I tried to run, but a dark brown, curly haired soc grabbed my arm. He threw me to the ground and multiple other socs grabbed my arms and legs. The blonde soc sat right on my chest and if you think that doesn't hurt like a mother, you are insane. I could barely even breath. I tried to move and get up, but I got socked in the side of the forehead twice. I felt something hot running down the side of my head, and I started to feel insanely lightheaded and dizzy. I really couldn't see what was going on until all five socs jumped off me and ran. Even though they got off me, I had a terrified paralysis. It was like when you get scared so bad that you can't move. I couldn't move. I tried to call someone, anyone's name, but no words came out.

Dally...Darry...Johnny...Two-bit...

Every time I tried to say someone's name, no words came out of my open mouth. I was unable to yell for help. Luckily, Two-bit came over to me on the ground. He lifted my head off the ground, and suddenly I started to get movement back. It was like I got movement from his touch. I turned straight to where the socs car used to be parked. Dally was throwing a large stick at the car, and Steve was kneeling on the ground holding his nose. I see Dally jogging over before I turn my head back to Two-bit.

"Hey, Sophie! You okay?!" he asked me. I wasn't sure whether I could speak, so I just went for it.

"I-I think so," I stutter back. Dally slides to his knees looking scared, and he probably ripped his pants.

"Shit! Sophie, are you okay?! Please tell me nothing happened to you! Is your head hurting?!" he asked me while wiping my forehead.

"I'm okay. The only thing that happened was me getting punched in the head and sat on."

"And you are bleeding from getting punched in the head!" he says and shows me the blood on his fingers. He then turned and yelled to Soda, "Hey, Soda, do you have a towel or anything to clean up this blood?!"

"Umm......let me check," he asked some of the other boys around him before turning back, "No, we don't have a towel or anything."

"Thanks for the help guys. My sister could be bleeding out here, and you have absolutely NOTHING!"

Darry sighs and takes off his black t-shirt. He soaks up some of the blood off my forehead, and then he ties the t-shirt around my head. Dally grabs my legs and back, and he picks me up bridal style. I wrap my arms around his neck, so I don't fall out of his arms. He carries me back to the house where I get to have an actual towel instead of Darry's t-shirt. I also am given peroxide to clean out the cut. After cleaning it out, I went to my room to change out of my bloody leather jacket to a nice jean jacket. I sit on my bed to to read the next chapter of my book. I only got to the third sentence before someone knocked on my door.

"Who is it?" I yell out the door.
