When I can finally see it, I freeze and stare at it. His house is huge and so is the clearing it's in. I see people walking around everywhere. Two people come running out to meet us and I cringe behind Derek holding onto his shirt for dear life and in my other arm I have Daisy, who is unaffected by everything. They stop a distance from us when Derek puts a hand up signaling them to do so.
Derek turns around to look at me and touches my cheek with his hand. "It's ok, they don't mean to scare you and I promise they will not hurt you." He points to them and says, "that there is my beta Daniel and that one is his brother Dominic." At this point they are slowly and cautiously walking towards us, trying not to scare me I assume. "They were with you,when you found me."
"Yes,my Angel, along with their sister Angie," he replies. I calm down with the help of his touch but I still have a death grip on his shirt. As we continue to walk towards the house. I notice that the other people are gone and I assume that's because they were intrusted to leave for now for my comfort.
