I wake up feeling alot better, a little sore from the fight but that's it. I check myself out and for the most part my wounds are healed. Derek isn't in the bed with me. I get up and I'm a little wobbly. I go down stairs to get food.
When I get downstairs, I see two she wolves standing guard at the doors along with a single male wolf. He tenses, but remains still. I go to the fridge and grab something to eat.
I ask where Derek is and the bigger she wolf says he's at the training grounds but they were instructed not to let me leave the house. I pout at the last part wanting to go to him. But I go look for a window that over looks the training grounds. I find one in his office I assume since it smells strongly like Derek.
I see Derek in the middle of the feild with what I think is the whole pack. I hear him talking about what happened to me, I look away briefly and I see his dad chained to two posts on the stage. Then I hear him talking again as his mom is crying silently next to him.
"My decision for punnishment is whipping, and then bannishment from the Alpha house. He will have no interaction with my family." With that Derek looks up and sees me. He has a flicker of concern and I can see he wants to run to me but doesn't, his concern turns to rage instantly as he looks back to his father.
"Any objections from the pack," he asks. The pack is clearly not having any objections, the male's look ready to kill Duane. The women who are mated are hugging their mate's sides and the she wolves unmated back off behind everyone else.
A guard walks up and grabs a whip that was laying on the ground and walks over to Duane. I can't watch so, I turn and sit on the floor as I hear his cries of pain, every cry, I cringe. By the time the whipping stops, I'm crying. A little while later Derek finds me beneath the window crying.
His eyes instantly turn black, but he scoops me up and carries me to our room. He sits me down ever so gently on the bed and steps away and closes his eyes. I then remember that I am in heat and that's why I was asked to stay inside. It was to protect me from the male wolves.
