When I wake up Derek is waiting for me, I get up and go the bathroom and we head down stairs hand in hand. His mom sees us and smiles brightly as we sit down for breakfast. This morning it's bacon,eggs, and sausages. This morning his dad joins us for breakfast. He still scares me and he seems to like that he does, so I cringe into Derek for comfort. He gives his dad a look and starts to eat.
Afterwards Derek takes me out to buy clothes, I get all kinds of things and he's happy to. I was terrified every second of our trip,but as long as Derek was right next to me everything was fine, his touch helped me all the while.
When we got home I had all kinds of clothes to wear. He even had to buy me what he called a ring, that he wants me to wear, he called it a promise ring. I agreed, it was very pretty and I loved it. I changed into a new pair of clothes and a pair of flips flops because I didn't like the shoes.
I was feeling better about being home and walking around without Derek at my side all the time, though he preferred it. I was getting used to all the strange things and smells. I absolutely love the new foods.
Derek had to go do some pack stuff he said so he won't be back for awhile, but if I needed anything his mom Katie would help me. I walked to the kitchen and she was there cleaning up from lunch, she smiles at me as I grab a snack from the fridge and I pick up Daisy and go out to the garden and apple tree.
I lay down in the grass under the apple tree with Daisy and I share my snack with her. We are enjoying the sun coming through the leaves, when I hear his dad holler. I get up to see him coming towards me.
