20 years later
Derek's POV
Lexi and I didn't have any more problems over the years, we didn't have anymore kids because Lexi decided she didn't want any more so she got fixed.
Our oldest daughter is now the new Luna (alpha) and her mate is wonderful, her mate ended up being Daniel's oldest son.
We are now retired and frequently visit her old home, but we have our own little house in the pack land and she loves it. Our oldest Katie just had her first pup and she's a great mother.
Our other children grew up beautifully and now have mate's of their own, some in the boys are in our pack the rest of the girls live in different packs now. We talk and see each other regularly. Life couldn't be better.
Lexi is just as amazing as ever, just less touchy and not at all jumpy like she was when I first found her. After that day with the rogues and protecting me and the pups she never backed down. Yes her wounds healed with no remaining scars.
