Derek was in bad shape, but he'll survive the doctor says, but he can't leave this room while the war is wagging on outside. "They need a leader out there to help them," I say to her. "I know but he can't do it and you definitely shouldn't go out there, not in your condition and besides it's you they are after," she says. "I don't care I can't leave my pack to fight alone,"I say. I go for the switch but before I do there's a slight pain in my leg and I am on the ground looking at Derek, who just barely manages to get the needle in my leg. I fall asleep, pissed.

                       Derek's POV

"I had to do it, I say, I had to," I say to the doctor. "I couldn't let her go out there. She'll be ok right? I'll be ok right?"
The doctor looks at me, "yes she will be ok and yes you will be to, I got you in here on time to save you, but there will be no way you can go back out there, you need to put Daniel in control of the pack."
I do what she instructed me to do. Lexi lays on the floor next to me sleeping, this is a good day for her to sleep through. I lay there on the floor and hold her hand. The doctor has already taken care of my wounds and she's careing for the girls happily.
I can feel myself healing perfectly, by the next morning, Lexi is still sleeping, the doctor says she's ok and so are the babies she's pregnant with. Babies......not one, but 5 pups this pregnancy and that explains why she's showing so early. The doctor also said that giving Lexi that shot was the best thing possible for her, because she would have lost all the pups if she went out there.
The war lasted three days, three agonizing days, but the whole time the doctor kept Lexi asleep and was checking on our babies to keep them safe and healthy.
"Derek every last rogue is gone, either killed or surrendered, none got away," Daniel mindlinks me. "How's our Luna doing?"
"She's fine, asleep, but fine. I'll be out soon, I'm ready to come back now that I am all healed,"I reply.
I look at the doctor she nods and takes my place holding Lexi's hand.
I push the switch and walk out as she closes the wall back up just in case.
As I walk out of the house I am greeted by loud cheers, for me being ok and for our winning of the battle and that our Luna is safe as well. I asses the damages to my pack, not many were lost, but many injured.
I instruct everyone to get to cleaning before our Luna wakes up. I want everything back to normal. I also shared the good news since we weren't able to before and that she was having 5 pups this time.
