A couple weeks later we discover that I'm pregnant again. Derek is happy, I'm happy and so is the pack. Till a guard comes running up to us injured, with urgent news from the Northside of the pack border.
He's yelling we're being attacked by rogues, they want our Luna and the territory. There's to many for us to control without our alpha and the warriors help he finishes.
After everything is said I get thrown over Derek's shoulder and he runs me into the house and to his office and he disappears for a moment and comes back with our pups. "Stay here and do not leave this room, do you understand me, Lexi please do this for me!" As I have tears running downy face I agree, "just come back to me, please, please come back to me." He bends down and gives me a kiss and "I always will, no matter what." He turns and gives the kids a kiss and just before exiting the room he opens a panel in the wall hits a button and runs out.
As he hits the button metal walls close all around us leaving only the window and it drops down bars. It's his bomb proof shelter. That is also laced with silver, our only weakness.
The twins are sleeping now and all I can feel is lives being taken from our pack, every life taken I feel it, with every life I cry in pain. Then I feel it,the pain worst of all. I know it's Derek and I can't get to him to help him, the pain is so bad that it forces me to change and all I can do is howl in pain.
Lola, Lola I can't take the pain anymore, I'm telling her. "Derek please say your ok,"I mind link him and get no response. Lola tried Tyson and still no response from him. I tried Katie," is Derek ok, please answer me."
She mindlinks me back, " he's alive, but badly injured, they are bringing him back to the house now. Where are you?" I reply his office." She replies back,"oh thank God, in the desk is a switch to just open the door do so in 3 minutes and the doctor and Derek will be there then press it again to close it," she says. I wait the given amount of time and do so and the doctor comes bursting in dragging Derek as I push the button again. The wall comes back down over the doorway and we are shut in here again.
