Broken

We were at the Blackthorn Hall again. I was the first one who entered the portal. I waited others to come. First Helen came then Simon. I was happy to find a way for Alec and Magnus. I just wished I didn't say anything to them before. I was sure that they didn't forgive me but they didn't hate me too. It was complicated like the other things. And Clary. She was still in coma. Because of me. But I was glad that she didn't wake up. We had so many problems to deal. We couldn't try to get her memory back now. Also, she shouldn't be in this mess again.

''I'll make the dinner for us. You can wait in here or in the living room.'' Helen said and left the room when I was thinking. I looked at Simon and he looked at me. And he left after Helen too.

'' I can help you.'' I heard Simon saying it. I stood in the middle of the room then went to the training room. I must clear my head. Tomorrow we would go to the Clave again. And we must find a plan. Also, Helen would get the heart. It would be a busy day. I opened the door and took a blade. I saw the sand bag so I dropped my blade and started to punch it. I punched, punched and punched. At some point, I wasn't feeling my hands anymore. I felt like they were bleeding a lot. But I didn't stop. I didn't heal my hands either. I lost track of the time and couldn't be able to stop myself until a kid came. I didn't see her but there she was standing between me and the the wall. I didn't know how I got there and I was nearly going to hit her. I stooped myself just before hitting her in the face. I tried to pull myself together. But it was harder than I thought. My hands were broken. I could see that know. They were getting pink to purple. And, the wall covered with my blood.

'' Why have you punched the wall? Didn't you know that your hands would broke?'' She asked angrily. I looked at her to be sure. She was angry at me. Really angry. But why?

'' I lost myself. Why are you mad at me?'' I asked.

'' I heard that Helen needs you. You can't be that selfish. If you broke your hands, you can't help her.'' She said. I wasn't surprised because I was listening the same word everyday. 'Selfish'

'' You are right. I am. But she doesn't need my hands. She needs my mouth.'' I said. She didn't look at me angrily now.

'' Okay! But, you still should fix your hands. Do you want me to use my stele.'' She asked. She was really sweet. But, I saw myself in her eyes. A lost kid. So, I better not turn her down.

'' Sure!'' I said and knelled. She drew the Iratze. I waited a little bit longer and stood up. I could see that my hands were getting better.

'' Thank you,..'' I remembered that I didn't know her name.

'' Emma. I am Emma.'' She said.

'' I am...'' I was telling her but she filled.

'' You are Jace Herondale. Everyone knows who you are.'' She said.

'' I hope that is a good thing.'' I said. I couldn't know what she heard about me.

'' You and your friends saved Indris and the World. That's a good thing.'' She said and smiled.

'' We got help. Anyway, why did you come here, Emma?'' I asked.

'' I wanted to meet you and  train.'' She said. Of course she was. Shadowhunters starts training in an early age.

'' Did you chose your weapon?'' I asked.

''Yes.'' She said. And took out a sword behind her back. It was a big sword for her but she was able to hold it.

'' This is Cortana. It was my father's . He gave it to me before he died.'' She said sadly. And, that's way I saw myself in her.

'' It's a beautiful sword and I am sorry for your father.'' I said.

'' Don't be. And this is a Carstairs Sword. Do you want me to show you how I use it.'' She asked with hope so I didn't want to make her upset.

'' Sure!'' I said. She went to the sand bag and lifted the sword up and cut the bag in the half. Half of it was on the floor and everywhere was covered with sand.

'' You are good!'' I said. She was going to say something but an other kid entered.

'' Helen said that dinner was ready. You should come.'' He said.

'' We are coming, Jules.'' Emma said. I remembered that Helen called him Julian before. She walked after Julian.

'' Come on dinner is ready.'' She said to me so I followed them. After me, I closed the door.
