"Calum?" I said as I got up to open the door. I thought they were writing the song.
I opened the door slowly to reveal Calum and Ashton laughing and exchanging some inside jokes as usual.
"Hey Bay." Calum greeted simply and slid his way into the house.Okay...
"Aye Bay." Ashton pulled me into a short hug and pulled away, inviting himself into the house.
"This place is nice." Calum bounced on his feet. I nodded in agreement. As much as I liked this place, I missed home. I missed Australia.
"How's Ansel?" Ashton whispered in my ear. His warm breath against my skin made me shiver momentarily.
"He's fine. He keeps kicking me." I giggled as I lay a hand on my belly. I was two thirds through the pregnancy and I still had no idea how I was going to bring him up, possibly single handedly.
"Aw that's adorable." Ashton smiled his usual dimple-ish smile. I grinned back at him.
"What's for dinner?" Calum asked cheekily as he placed his feet up on the glass table and rested on the couch.
"Get your feet off the table! You don't even live here!" I retorted and pushed his feet off my glass table.
"How're you?" Ashton followed me into the kitchen and opened the fridge, making himself feel at home.
"I'm good. Tired but I'm pulling through." I admitted, grabbing some macaroni that Luke bought me to cook.
"Pulling through isn't 'good'." Ashton said blankly, closing the fridge and walking over to me by the stove.
"It's better than I could ask for." I shrugged in reply. Honestly, I was too tired to keep up a conversation but I wanted to talk to Ashton. This is just so-ugh. Do you feel?
"Need help?" Ashton asked, gesturing to the packet of macaroni.
"Take the pan out for me, please.Thanks." I directed while preparing the food.
I know Ashton meant well but asking me if I'm alright isn't going to change anything. It's not going to change or help me.

"Woah, Bay!" Luke exclaimed as he dug into the plate of food I had laid in front of him.
"This is good." Calum complimented in contentment. I smiled to myself and dismissed myself from the table to take a shower.
"Where are you going?" Calum asked.
"Taking a shower. I feel sticky and gross." I stuck my tongue out at him and got off my seat.
Calum got off his seat and followed me behind.
"Bay, I need to talk to you about something after your shower. Is that fine?" Calum questioned. I looked over Calum's shoulder at Ashton who had an uncomfortable look on his face as he glared at me and Calum.
"Yeah." I nodded and turned to go to my room. I opened the boxes one by one to look for cloths.
I was about to check another box when I heard a knock on the door behind me.
"Ashton, let me shower before I talk to you please." I groaned tiredly, not in the mood to actually hold up a conversation.
"It's actually me." Luke chuckled. I snapped my head back to the door to see Luke standing by the door awkwardly with his hands in his pockets.
"I can come back later. I'll just leave you to-"
"No." I shook my head and rubbed my temples. "No,what is it? What's the matter?" I let him speak.
