Just as our lips were about to touch,Ashton's phone chimed in his back pocket, causing the both of us to pull away.

He frowned at the caller id and apologized before accepting the call.

Damn it.

Ashton frowned as he spoke.

"Wait I thought-"

"Oh. "

"Thanks,we'll be back."

With that he hung up the phone and sighed. I looked at him in triumph as we sat in awkward silence

"We got to go back. Elliot realized we were gone and he suggests that we get back before Calum wakes up." Ashton sighed. I silently cursed Elliot for spoiling the mood but then again, it was best if we went back before Calum finds out that we were gone.

I nodded before getting back on my feet with Ashton rushing to my side to hold me up.

"I'm fine Ash. I'm a big girl!" I retorted jokingly. Ashton rolled his eyes before bringing us back to the car.

Ashton drove back quickly. There was a slightly uncomfortable silence between us.

I looked out the window and watched as the trees whisked by like a huge motion picture flashing before my eyes.

How lucky can someone ever be? I thought about myself six months back. Sitting alone in my apartment alone with only my phone and a job to keep me busy.

And now I'm in LA with one of the biggest bands in the world. I found my brother finally and have such incredible company like Michael and Luke. With two guys who care for me, Calum and Ashton.

"Penny for your thoughts, Mademoiselle?" Ashton giggled. I turned to him and smiled.

Have you ever seen those smiles? The ones that spread across someone's face and it brightens the whole atmosphere up.

He had those smiles.

"Just thinking about how lucky I am, Monsieur." I shrugged.

"Why is that?" Ashton asked, his shoulders relaxed and he laughed.

"I have Elliot, Calum, Michael, Luke..." I trailed and looked at him deep into his brownish green orbs.

"And I have you." I grinned.

The smile on Ashton's face got wider, if that was even possible.

"Thanks Bay." He thanked as we neared the house. I frowned in confusion.

"For what?"

"For making me feel special." the butterflies-scratch that- the fucking elephants were doing somersaults in my belly.

I shuffled uncomfortably into the new house. It had two levels and it was pretty cozy.

The heat beat against my skin as I stepped outside to the balcony from the room. This place had a beautiful scenery and I loved it.

"Bay." Elliot called out from the living room downstairs. I slowly made my way down to see him lying on one of the sofas comfortably.

"I kinda got to go soon." Elliot sighed. Wait what?

"I'm meeting someone nearby but I'll back! I called Michael over to look after you since Calum and Ashton had to continue on their song." He reassured, or at least attempted to.

He was leaving me, his six month pregnant sister, alone in our new house, with a "period blood" color haired human kitten overgrown child.

"Michael?! You could've called Luke." I resented, throwing my hands up in the air. Don't get me wrong. Michael's a dear, but if he comes to "take care" of me, I'd just end up taking care of him and myself.
