Chapter 30-Aria

Aria pulled away.

She looked to the ground, embarrassed. "I...I'm so sorry, Alpha. I just...I need some time after everything that's happened."

For once, she put herself first.

For once, she wasn't afraid of being hated.

Alpha backed up a step and put his hands in his pockets.

"Yeah, yeah of course. It's okay and I'm sorry," He trailed.

Aria felt bad for making it awkward.

She did enjoy the kiss...

"I...I'll take you home...they'll be okay for a little bit." He nodded back towards the house.

She nodded.

They got in the car and after a few awkwardly silent blocks, Alpha started the conversation again.

"I'm sorry Aria...oh god I'm stupid. I'm just an emotional wreck right now. Which I know isn't a good excuse."

Aria shook her head, "It's okay, Alpha...really. I just hope we can still be friends."

Alpha smiled.

"I'd like that."

A few weeks had passed, there was a funeral for Alpha's dad and Aria had been attending therapy.

She probably would for the rest of her life.

But as of now, she was puking.

Again.

This was the fourth time this week she had woken up feeling sick.

And it was starting to worry her.

She called Alpha, they went to the drug store.

"Thanks, Alpha...I'll let you know, okay?"

Alpha nodded as she shut the door.

She followed the instructions and anxiously waited for the results.

She dropped the thing and screamed.

"Aria!" Alpha yelled, alarmed.

She held a hand to her mouth, and sobbed.

She opened the door for him.

But Alpha already knew the outcome.

She hugged him, and sobbed.

She was pregnant.

With a child she didn't want, was forced to have.

"Alpha...I can't take care of it...you can't take care of it..."

"Shh...shh, Aria it'll be okay."

"I don't want an abortion, that's just cruel and wrong...I...I don't know what to do..."

"Aria just calm down, we'll figure this out. We always have."

Months passed, Aria was going through with the pregnancy.

She and Alpha agreed that they would give the baby up to an adoption center.

The only problem was, Aria passed during the labor.

Leaving Alpha alone, forever.
