Time passed, Beatrice knew that Finn was getting better.

Pretty soon, he'd be leaving her.

They had grown so close over the course of 8 months.

Finn understood her, when no one else would.

She didn't want to say goodbye.

But she knew that this would be the best thing for him.

He needed to be happy. While Beatrice didn't deserve it.

She was too far gone.

But Finn, oh Finn could be saved, fixed.

And she would help him as much as she could.

She walked into the cafeteria, lunch time.

And that's when she saw him.

Kaeden...

What was he doing here?

She spun back around the corner.

She collapsed to the ground, breathing heavily.

He shouldn't be here. He couldn't be here. They hadn't talked in months.

As much as it hurt, Beatrice knew she didn't love him anymore.

And she couldn't face him.

Beatrice started panicking, what would she do? She'd get yelled at if she skipped lunch and there would be no way of avoiding him.

She started sobbing when she realized that there was no way out.

She was sweating, and shaking.

Sob, sweat, shake.

Sob, sweat, shake.

It went on for minutes,

but it felt like hours.

"Bee?" A faint voice rang through her head. "Hey, hey, Beatrice. It's okay."

Someone kneeled in front of her, and held her by her shoulders.

Through her tears, she could see Finn, a worried expression was plastered across his brow. His carmel brown eyes were filled with worry as his sun-kissed blond hair flew in the wind of others passing.

Part of Beatrice felt bad for making him worry.

But that didn't matter now.

Finn pulled her into a hug and she sobbed into his chest.

"Oh god, Beatrice. Breathe, just breathe."

She tried, but she couldn't.

"Finn?" She heard another male voice. "Oh god, do I need to get someone?"

"I-I don't know..." Finn panicked, which didn't help Beatrice.

"Finn," she tried to speak. "Finn. He's here."

She just hoped he understood.

"Shh, shh. It's okay. I won't let him near you."

Beatrice choked back another sob.

Finn cared.

Oh god, he actually cared.

Beatrice knew that not very many people showed her affection.

But Finn did.

And she loved him for it.

Her breathing slowed, and so did the tears.
