8 months.
She had been Milosh's partner for 8 months.
Summer plopped her bag down next to a chair.
"Great," she grumbled.
She had to sit next to him, when she didn't want to fall in love.
But it was happening.
And she hated it.
Milosh looked as if he was having a seizure, she didn't want him to feel this nervous around her.
"Bro...chill." She said to him.
It was the exact advice she should've taken herself.
Summer didn't want to try and comfort him although she could.
To comfort him would only make her fall in love more.
No, all she needed to do was ignore him as much as possible
Suddenly, Milosh gagged and ran out the door.
Summer stood up in an attempt to help him, but then she remembered, she couldn't fall in love with him.
But it was already happening, whether she knew it or not.
She slumped back into her seat and tried to finish listening to the lesson, the respiratory system.
How ironic, a lesson on breathing when Summer could barely breathe.
Eventually the class was over and Mrs. Bass sent Palmer, another freshman, after Milosh.
Summer didn't understand Milosh, most people didn't, but that didn't mean she wouldn't fall in love with him.
Summer loved his smile, although it was rare you could sometimes catch a glance of it while he was reading a book that made him laugh. He was silent, yes, but it was almost charming. Milosh observed things, and it allowed him to notice little things and moments most people missed.
Whether she liked it or not, Summer liked Milosh.
And she had just ruined everything.
