Jiyeon's POV

Soobin unnie called me this morning to celebrate my birthday. Jimin planted kisses on my forehead early in the morning because he can't celebrate it today. We will hang out tomorrow at Itaewon street and go to our parent's graves.

As I pick my outfit for the day, I came accross a striped tee. That one was our first couple tee. Changkyun chose it when we went out together with the boys and girls to a mall.

"Ji, let's leave them behind. I wanna buy something for us. You know, couple things" he said as he smiled.

"Ya! Are you serious? Soojung is with us now. She would get mad!"

"I don't care. I already talk to Shownu hyung. He said okay"

"Okay then. Let's run! Ppalli!"

We went to a clothing store and as soon as we got in, Changkyun were jumping while pointing at one side of the store. That side is for striped shirt only. We chose the same blue stripe tee as our first couple tee. Technically, Chankgyun gifted it to me. Well, he's rich.

I thought of a concept for my outfit today, actually. Pushing aside my broken heart and miserable mind, I chose the striped shirt and pair it with black skinny jeans.

I texted Soobin unnie to inform that I'll be waiting at the mall. She replied okay and I started to drive to the mall. It took me 30 minutes to reach there because there was an accident.

I went into the accesories store first because I wanted to buy bracelets or maybe earrings for my new collection. A pair of earrings with moon on it caught my eyes. It is so beautiful. I tried it on and the staff there said it suits me well. So I decided to buy that and some other accesories.

I stepped out the store and I bumped into someone. A girl, fortunately.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry! Are you oka...y? Is that you Jiyeon?"

The girl is Mina and the others. It has been 5 years since we last met each other. We only contact each other through Kakao Talk or on Instagram.

"Yes! Mina, right? Oh My God! What a coincidence" I said and hugged her tightly. The others hugged me as well.

Due to the accident that happened earlier on the way to the mall, Soobin unnie is trapped too. So it will take about an hour for her to arrive. So, I decided to catch things up with the girls. We decided to go to Starbucks and talk there. Mina is the closest to me so when I wanted to order my drink, she cutted my words off and order my usual one, from 5 years ago. I wanted to try new drink, though.

"So Jiyeon, how have you been?" May started the conversation.

"I've been alright, May. You became so beautiful! I'm insecure now" I squealed while admiring her flawless and model-like face. She just laughed and shook her head.

"Ji, where do you work now?" Jangmi asked.

"Oh, I work at M Company for 4 months already. How about you? Did you become an art teacher like you always dreamed of?" I replied.

"Yes, fortunately. I work at the kindergarten because Minhyuk encouraged me to. The kids are so cute! I always feel excited to go to work everyday." Jangmi said.

My stomach tightens at the mention of Minhyuk. I missed the boys so much. We would always hang out together to celebrate birthdays before. I barely check on them because I was so busy with work and another excuse was to move on from Changkyun. I became silent all of a sudden and formed a small smile, "Oh,"

"The boys missed you too, Ji. It's been 5 years. I know you missed them too. Why'd you disappear all of a sudden like that?" Seojin asked.

"You know that me and Changkyun already broke up, right? It would be so awkward." I replied back.

"I don't remember hearing from you and Kyun's mouth about the breakup. You guys did not break up yet, Ji. I know you still love him and I- no, we clearly know that he does too" Seojin words strucked my heart like a lightning.

He did not say anything about us? Then why did he left me hanging like this for 5 years?

"I know your love for him is strong. I know somehow fate will bring you guys together back. We miss spending time with you guys. Like before," Mina added.

I smiled at them, looking at their faces one by one. These faces were the one who helped me throughout my worst days at school before. I would never forget them and the memories that stay between us.
