Chapter 7 - Fluffy and Hagrid

You were walk with Harry and Draco around the castle on Sunday before going back to your common room. A few days have pasted since the troll. 

"Harry, I think your reading to much into this." Draco said. Harry shook his head. 

"I don't think so. Look, you saw what the Daily Profit said. Someone broke into Gringotts, the same one that Hagrid took me too and now Snape's leg is hurt? It ads up. Maybe Snape is after something?" Harry said. You sighed. 

"Harry. Lets say that was true OK. How did Snape get hurt then?" You asked. Harry was silent.

"Hold on a moment. Maybe Harry is right and we just don't know how he hurt his leg. There are hundreds, if not thousands of things that people can get hurt by in here." Draco said. You nodded. 

"True, True." You said. You all started to walk on the stair cases when it started to move. Once it stopped you all walked off but then the other stair cases moved. 

"Hey, aren't we on the third floor corridor?" Draco asked. You nodded, seeing a door and opened it. 

"Come on." You said. Harry and Draco walked in and you all looked around. 

"Wow, nothing is here. Why did Dumbledore want us to stay out of here?" Harry asked. You shrugged but saw another door. You walked up to it, but it was locked. Draco walked up, Harry behind him. 

"Hold on." Draco said, taking his wand out. 

"Alohomora." Draco said and the door became unlocked. You opened it and walked in but suddenly stopped. In front of you was a three headed dog. It's eyes opened and it stood, growling. You all screamed and ran out. Harry slammed the door closed and you yelled the locking spell before it could get out. You then all ran, practically jumping down the stairs to your common room. Once in, you all slummed on the couch, breathing hard. 

"Did you see that thing?" You asked. Harry nodded but Draco shook his head. 

"What do you mean no?" Harry asked. Draco took a deep breath before letting it out. 

"I saw it, but I also saw what it was standing on." Draco said. You sat up. 

"What it was standing on?" You asked. Draco nodded. 

"It was standing on a trap door." Draco said. You looked at Harry. 

"Lets ask Hagrid about it tomorrow after class." Harry said. You nodded and stood. 

"Well, I'm going to bed. Night guys." You said and walked up stairs as the boys waved at you. 

~The next day~ 

You walked with Draco and Harry down to Hargid's hut during lunch. You saw him sitting there, enjoying the day. 

"Hargid!" Harry said. He looked. 

"Ah! Harry. How are you and your little friends?" Hagrid asked. 

"We are good. Hagrid, we have a question." Harry asked. Hagrid sat up a bit. 

"Well ask away." Hagrid said. You, Harry and Draco all looked at each other, wondering who was ask it but you then sighed. 

"Hagrid, do you know about that three headed dog?" You asked. Hagrid suddenly looked worried. 

"Who told you about fluffy?" He asked. 

"That thing has a name?" Draco asked. Hagrid looked at him. 

"Why of course fluffy has a name, he's mine." Hagrid said. You looked at Harry.     

"Hagrid, we think Snape is trying to get past him." Harry said. Hagrid let out a short laugh. 

"Professor Snape is doing no such thing." Hagrid said. You took a step foreward. 

"But Hagrid, we all saw Snape. He has a limp. We think he tried to get pasted Fluffy to get in the trap door but was hurt." You said. Hagrid sighed. 

"Listen, Snape isn't trying to get past Fluffy. He must have gone down there to make sure that Dumbledores item was safe." Hagrid said and there was silence. 

"I shouldn't have told you that." Hagrid said. Harry looked at him. 

"Whats down their?" Harry asked. Hagrid shook his head. 

"Nope. I'm not saying another word." Hagrid said. Draco took a step forward. 

"Hagrid, please. Snape whats what ever is down there." Draco said. Hagrid shook his head again.

"No he's not. Snape is helping Dumbledore and Nicolas Flamel." Hagrid said but slapped his forehead. You all ran off, heading to the library. 

"Whatever Nicolas Flamel has down there, Snape wants it." Harry said. You and Draco nodded but once you got to the library, the bell rang. 

"Come one, we will find it out later." You said as you all walked to your next class.
