Chapter 38 - Champions.

You all sat in the great hall. Today was the day that the champions would get picked. 

"Who do you will will be the Hogwarts champion?" You asked. 

"Cedric, defiantly Cedric." Draco said. You laughed a bit but it died soon as the lights went out. The goblets flames grew and a paper shot out. 

"Viktor Krum." Dumbledore said. Victor stood and walked into the back. He was the one representing Durmstrang. The flames grew again and another paper shot out. 

"Fleur Delacour." He said. A lady stood and almost skipped to the back. She was representing the Beauxbatons. The flames grew one fine time before dying as it shot out a paper. Dumbledore caught it and was silent. 

"Harry Potter." He announced. You looked at Harry but she looked stunned. 

"Harry Potter." Dumbledore said again. Harry stood and walked back. Dumbledore walked back with a few other teachers and you looked at Draco. 

"Who would have put his name in the goblet?" Draco asked. 

"I don't know." You said but you and Draco both knew that Harry did not put his name in. The students started to file out but you and Draco stayed till you saw Harry. Yo and Draco ran over to him and you gave him a hug before looking at him in the eyes. 

"Harry, what happened?" You asked. Harry sighed. 

"I'm a champion." He said. You hugged him again. 

"I'm so sorry." Draco said. He Harry hugged you back and pulled away. 

"You guys aren't mad?" Harry asked. You and Draco smiled. 

"Like we would betray our friend like that." Draco said. Harry smiled. 

"Come on, let go to bed." You said but Moody limped to you. 

"(y/n), tomorrow I will be asking for your help." Moody said. You nodded and he left. 

"Well, I can't help you Harry. I'm sorry but I will still root for you." You said. Harry smiled. 

"I understand." Harry smile. One in the dorms, Harry went straight to bed. You looked at Draco. 

"Who do you think did it?" You asked Draco. Draco looked at you.

"Maybe one of the guys that attacked the would cup." Draco said. You nodded. 

"Maybe. I will see you and Harry tomorrow." You said and left to sleep but no sleep came as you laid on your bed.
