Chapter 28 - Lucius and Draco.

"But Buckbeak did nothing wrong!" Draco shouted. Lucius raised an eyebrow.

"Do not yell at your father and your arm says otherwise." Lucius said. Draco bit his lip and Lucius walked into the great hall. You looked at Draco.

"Come one." Draco said and walked the opposite way from the great hall. You and Harry followed him.

"Where are you going?" You asked. Draco didn't look at you but you saw determination in his eyes.

"To the infirmary. I'm going to see how long till this bandage can come off." Draco said. Harry walked fast and stood in front of him, making Draco and you stop.

"Whoa hold on. Listen I want it off too but why do you want it off so soon right now?" Harry asked. Draco sighed.

"You heard my father. If I can prove that my arm is OK, maybe I can convince him not to kill Buckbeak." Draco said. Harry nodded and the three of you all walked to the Infirmary.

"Madam Pomfrey!" Draco called out. Madam Pomfrey came over.

"Yes Mr. Malfoy?" She asked.

"Can you check my arm and see if its good to go?" Draco asked. Madam Pomfrey sighed but checked. She un-did the bandage and waved her wand.

"It looked good. It didn't need to be wrapped but I would strongly advice you not to do anything with it till tomorrow." Madam Pomfrey said and walked off.

"Thank you." Draco said and turned, walking out. You and Harry following.

"Draco, that's a good thing, lets celebrate!" Harry said. Draco nodded with a smile.

"Yeah, but first, I need to find my father." Draco said, walking faster. You and Harry struggled to keep up, but managed. You looked in the great hall but he wasn't there.

"He must be in Dumbledore's office." Draco said and you all walked to his office, only to see Lucius walking out. He smiled at you all but didn't say anything. You walked into Dumbledore's office.

"Dumbledore, what did my father say?" Draco said. Dumbledore did not look happy.

"He has asked that I put Buckbeak down." Dumbledore said. Draco looked pissed.

"You can't do that! I don't blame him!" Draco said. Dumbledore nodded.

"That is what I said but he said he will go to the minister. I told him we will hold a fair trial in witch case you can plead for Buckbeak's defense." Dumbledore said. Draco nodded.

"and I will." He said, walking out with you and Harry. Once out, you saw Lucius waiting.

"Father!" Draco yelled, walking up to him and held his arm out.

"Look! I'm fine!" Draco yelled. Lucius used his cane to lower Draco's arm.

"And you never would have been hurt if that thing wasn't alive." Lucius said. You saw that Draco was red in the face from anger.

"Now go. I'm waiting for my owl to come so I can send this letter." Lucius said Draco turned and ran. Harry followed him but you stayed behind.

"Your despicable." You said before running after Draco and Harry.
