Chapter 4

Peaceful For A Moment

I left the wolf den to resume today's activity. I wandered along the grasspath in front of me, leading me towards the forest where the river was situated. As I went closer to the grounds of the woods, the temperature became warm. I was abruptly startled by some eerie ambient sounds that come from the darker part of the forest, I wouldn't want to think what was in there. The forest is a mystery, it's full of energy that can't be defined us.

My feet touched the ground and I stayed still as I gaze around the environment. The blow of wind brushing past my gray furry cloak, I could feel the breeze touching my flesh. I made my way to an opening covered by vines, my hands opened it and it revealed a tranquil surrounding. Butterflies flying around and birds resting on the nests of trees.

I knelt down and felt the running water with my right hand. This water soothes anxiety, calms down oneself and loosens thoughts from the mind. I sat down, my backside against the green grass. There were poppies and peonies everywhere. Some trunks of trees were covered with moss.

I grabbed my leather satchel away from my shoulder and opened its flap. It contained a book, written by Doctor Leandro, there were spells, chants and incantations in this book. This book has to be kept safe by me, I'll be giving it to my future daughter who will be the chosen one when she needs it.

I laid down the book on the ground and opened it. Turning its pages, my eyes scan the spells and runes inscribed in this book. Flipping from page to page, there were folded papers in between some pages. I unfolded the tattered piece of paper, revealing a golden sunflower. My eyes scanned from the top to the bottom until the cut edge of the piece. The paper was torn in half, the other half must have been taken away. I'll have to get that message, the description must have been important too.

I continued flipping through the pages, a hidden relic, a golden labyrinth that shows memories, vision bracelets. Doctor Leandro has written interesting information, this was also co-written by his former partner, Balto. It makes sense that Doctor Leandro has these kinds of information, the den's wisdoom keeper and wise wizard, with lots of trained voodoo skills.

A page was based on a necklace, the selenite pendant. Whoever is the user of this precious pendant, it will glow red to indicate an incoming blood moon, it will turn black if it sees an arrival. It will glow into a tint of bright yellow to indicate that someone is chanting a blood sun spell. The selenite pendant is yet to be found.

I continued turning the pages one by one, until I ended up in a certain page. The celestial events and incantations, it features the three types of constellations: blood moon, blood sun and the blood star.

BLOOD MOON

It occurs every 100 years or when a royal bloodline chants this celestial body. The blood moon shines on two individuals who have deep affection for each other, the blood moon bonds and unifies them together eternally and grants eternal protection from harm. Even if a malevolent force is in maximum power to divide these two from each other, the blood moon has the ability to unite the lovers, endlessly.

Their time together is extended eternally until their souls are perished.

BLOOD SUN

It occurs every one thousand years, or when a royal bloodline chants this celestial body. The blood sun is cursed upon a couple who deeply love each other, separates them forever and it brings a harmful after effect. Once cursed, these two shall never touch or be in close distance or else, both will feel the burning sensation of the sun and incinerate to death. The blood moon cannot mend a damaged or divided pair.
