Claire's POV
Mamma Mia! Here I go again, my my! How can I resist you? Mamma Mia! Does it show again? my! my! Just how much I missed you! Yeees! I've been broken hearted! Blue since the day we parted! ----
A loud song awakes me in the middle of a deep sleep. Oh, shoot! It's my phone! I grab it immediately and answer the call before it wakes mom too.
*On the Phone:
Claire:Hello? Who's this? (I said as I close the bathroom door.)
Caller:Claire? It's me, Daniel.
Claire:Daniel? What made you call? It's 1am.
Daniel:Sorry to disturb you, but Claire... Can I ask you a favor?
Claire:I-It depends. What is it? Daniel:I cannot contact Gabby. ---
Claire:Daniel, she is probably preparing to go or maybe she's already in the airport right now waiting for her flight. I'm sure you know that she's leaving today, right?
Daniel:Right. But the thing is... we have another plan. She's not leaving for LA, Claire. She said she can't. That's why we came up into a decision. Please, Claire, tulungan mo kame.
Claire:Wait. Could you just spill the beans? What's that another plan? Why does she can't go to LA? Diretsuhin mo nga ako?! (I hissed.)
Daniel:Claire, magtatanan kami ngayon. We are suppose to meet at two o' clock outside their village.
Claire:Are you two out of your mind??? (I cover my mouth in surprise. I don't want to wake up mom.)
Daniel:Claire, we have no choice. We can't be apart. She's pregnant.
Claire:What the fuck?! (I hissed angrily. Gab is pregnant??? She can't be!)
Daniel:We were both drunk. We were out of control. Then it just happened.
Claire:You impregnated my fifteen year old bestfriend, you asshole???
Daniel:I--I'm sorry, Claire, if we disappointed you. But, please, help us. It's almost two. I cannot fetch her. I'm still in the hospital. Dad had a heart attack when I confessed everything to him because I was caught sneaking out this late. Mom is on panick. I can't just leave. (Shit! Takot pa naman sa dilim si Gabby.)
Claire:If only not for Gab, I would never do this.
Daniel:Thank you, Claire. My bestfriend, Sean, is already there. He'll be the one to accompany you two for the mean time. Susunod agad ako.
Claire:You better fix your mess after this, Daniel. (I end the call and immediately fix myself, wear shirt, jacket, sneakers and jeans; get my bag pack and the key of my motorbike. I carefully open the door of my room to avoid mom from waking up. Success! I use my phone as I walk down the stairs and walk to the main door. Wooh! My heart is beating so fast. I've never been this nervous. If dad will catch me sneaking, he's totally going to kill me.)
Inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale. I wear my helmet, start off the engine and drive off to the road.
Gab's POV
I can't believe Claire is with me inspite of all the secrets I kept from her. We are now riding a yacht going to a very far Island here in a Visayan province.
A warm hand holds my tummy. It's Claire. I look at her and smile.
"I'm not saying this is right but I want you to be happy and I want your baby to have a whole family. Just please, Gab, take care of yourself." She smiles back. Finally.
"Thank you, Claire. And I'm sorry for involving you in this very complicated situation."
"I am already involved in all your situations since the very day you became my bestfriend." She really knows how to comfort me and make me feel that I'm not alone.
"But, Gab... You can't hide forever. You cannot avoid your parents for all your life."
"I know. I just need time and a lot of courage before I face them." She simply nods.
Richard's POV
I am secretly following them, also riding a yacht. I went to the kitchen to drink water then checked Gab since her flight is four in the morning.
To my surprise, she's nowhere to be found. I immediately get my car and look for her then I saw her and Claire ride a van so I decided to follow then. I was right. They are up to something.
How can a fifteen year old think of things like this? Obviously, they do not know what they're doing. Why do they seem panicking?
Claire takes two lifevests for her and Gab. What's happening to their yacht? I went closer to them and saw the smoke coming from the machine. Shit! It will soon explode. Why aren't they still jumping?!
"Gabby! Claire! Tumalon na kayo! Sasabog na yan!" They did not hear me.
I mover closer as I watch them. This can't be happening. Gab and Claire went inside. Bakit pa sila pumasok?! They are suppose to jump.
Seconds after, they went out with a man who I think is unconscious. They help him out.
"Anak! Gabby! Claire!" I shout as loud as I can. Thankfully, they heard me.
"Dad!!!"
"Tito! Help us!"
"Tumalon n----"
My world seems to crash down when the yacht explode.
They didn't make it.
No! This is just a dream!
This is not true! This can't be true!
"Gabby!!!!! Hinde!!!! Anak ko!!!!"
I keep shouting her name but it's no use. It's already 11 in the morning and here I am still waiting, still searching for their body. Until I stop in an Island.
There is something that wants me to stop there. I searched for people who can possibly residents but no one appeared. I reached the back part of the island which is also a shore.
"Gabby??? Claire???"
I run to their body. Their vests were tangled to each other which probably is the reason why they are still together. I cannot even look straight to them. Their faces are burnt from the explosion.
"Gabby??? Anak??? Wake up, please." I try to wake her up but she's no longer breathing.
"No!!!! Gabby!!! Please! I can't lose another child! Hindi ko kaya!"
Minutes after I whine for my lost, I check Claire's pulse. Shit! I need to run her to the hospital. She's still alive!
"Claire?! Hang in there, okay?!"
I carry her into the yacht and then Gab.
