Aga's POV

This new big project really stresses me out. Deadline was scheduled and we don't yet find the right person to assign to do it. I am now busy assessing the backgrounds and experiences of the applicants.

"Sir, may I remind you that it is passed 1 o' clock in the afternoon and you haven't eaten your lunch. You have a meeting at 2 o' clock and it seems that you'll be in this office until midnight. Do you happen to plan starving yourself to death, Mr. Muhlach?"

That made me laugh instantly and that caused her to raise her right brow while looking intently at me.

"What's so funny?"

"Nothing, Mrs. Muhlach. I didn't even hear the door opened. I almost jumped off of my chair."

"I knocked and even called out your name but you didn't answer so I checked if you finally came out of this messed office of yours then found you too engrossed with those papers which only seem to disappoint you by merely looking at your face."

"Babes ----"

"Shut up and eat." She cuts me off and sets the food on my table.

"I'll put this papers here. Just continue reading them after you eat." This is one of the silver linings when Lea totally left her career.

"Can you join me babes?"

"No. Ubusin mo yan. You've been too stressed these passed few days. Your secretary told me that you barely eat once you start your paperworks."

"Okay. Kakain na po." I started eating. Then she sit on the chair in front of my table.

"Aga, I know you have lots of work because you're the CEO, but please take care of yourself specially your health. I don't want you getting seek. Do you understand?" I swallow the food on my mouth then smile at her.

"Yes, Ma'am. I'm sorry."

"Just don't skip your meals next time."

"That's a promise. Thank you."

"You don't have to thank me. I'm your wife."

"I know. And I love you." This time, she smiles back at me. Her smile sends peace and energy. Thanks to her.

"I love you too."

"Anong oras ang uwi mo?"

"Six o' clock. Why?"

"Sabay na tayo." She did not expect me to say that, I guess.

"Are you sure?? I thought you will be having over time tonight."

"I changed my mind, babes."

"How about those application forms you need to assess? Bukas na ang interview. Paano malalaman nila Jerry kung sino ang pasok sa standards mo?"

"Well, I realized naman na if they will pass Jerry's interview, then that only means na pasok sa standard ko. You know how Jerry is when it comes to the applicants."

"I know. Pero akala ko ba you want to make sure that you will get the best ones for the big project? How can you be sure?"

"We'll find out when we get there. Tonight, I just want to come home early with my wife."

"Okay. If you say so."

Dawn's POV

It has been a month since we came back here but I and Richard has to go back in LA the day after tomorrow because of the papers we need to settle in the company of Richard's family.

As much as we want to bring Gab with us, we can't because she said she has a job interview. Of course, we tried to convince her but she made up her mind. Whenever she's eagered to do something, she makes it happen. Good thing she has practiced independence when we were still living in LA. That lessens my worries.
