Gab's POV

"Mom, may driver naman po ako. You don't have to accompany me. I'm twenty. Hindi na po ako ten year old na kailangan niyo pang samahan mag-mall."

"Hindi ka naman sanay dito e. It's been three years. Madami ng nagbago dito. And iba na rin ang mga tao ngayon. I just want to make sure you're safe all the time."

"Mommy naman e." I irritably say.

"Love, hayaan mo na yang anak mo. Kasama naman niya ang driver niya. Tyaka, she's right. She's on the right age to go malling on her own. Wag kang masyadong mag-alala."

Haaay... Buti na lang talaga dad is always here to defend me. What would I do without you, dad?

"Sige na, Love, payagan mo na. Magmumukmok lang yan sa kwarto niya." I smile mischievously as mom sighs in defeat.

"Fine. Pinagtulungan niyo na ako e." I jump to her and hug her.

"Thank you my beautiful mommy."

"Nambola pa. Basta, mag-iingat ka ha. Wag kang lalayo sa driver mo." I nod. I hug dad and whisper to him.

"Thank you for your help dad. You're the best." I look at him then he winks at me and I hardly control my giggle.

"I'll just go get changed."

Aga's POV

I scan my phone to check the title of the book Lea asked me to buy. I am now inside National Book Store.

"Excuse me, where will I find this book?" I ask the saleslady and show her the cover of the book Lea sent me.

"It's on that section, Sir." She points on the right side of the store.

"Thank you."

I walk toward the shelf and look for the book. It's the last one. Sakto, thank goodness. Lea would rant at me if I go home without this book. I am about to get it when a feminine hand takes it first. Damn!

"Uhm, are you gonna get that book, miss?"

"Yes. Actually, this is the only reason po why I'm here. Why?" Her face and her voice are familiar to me.

"Ah, wala. Wala, sige."

"Were you suppose to get it po ba?"

"Yah. My wife asked me too. But it's okay. Maybe I could find another one on the other stores."

"This is limited edition po, I don't think may makikita pa po kayo."

That just made me scratch my head. Lagot ako nito sa asawa ko.

"Here. You can have it." She hands me the book with a kind smile. I blink my eyes many times.

"I thought this is only the reason why you're here? This is probably very important to you just as how important it is to my wife."

"It's okay po. I already read it. Naiwan ko lang po kasi yung copy ko sa LA kaya bumibili ulit ako."

"That's very kind of you. But, are you sure?" She smiles and nods. I smile back at her.

"I'm sure po."

"Okay, then. Tell me, how can I pay back for this?"

"You don't have to po. It's really okay."

"Thank you. You just saved me from my wife's rant." She giggles.

"You're welcome po."

I don't know but I like looking at her smile and her eyes. They're like Lea's.
