Richard's POV
"Love, baka lalo lang magalit sina Lea sa aten. Umuwi na kaya tayo?" Dawn convinces me.
If she only knows who's inside this casket I'm sure she would never want to leave. We are here on Claire's burial which is supposed to be Gab's burial.
FLASHBACK
As soon as everything sank in my head, I get up and fix things out.
I need to do something for my wife. She can never accept another death in our family. I take the two plastic bags the nurse has handed me then went to the morgue. I place the burnt clothes and necklace of Claire near the dead body of my own daughter.
"I'm sorry, anak. But I need to do this for your mommy. She cannot surely accept your death. Hindi niya kakayanin. And I don't want to see her that way. I know, this is selfish, but I hope you understand, anak. I'm really sorry. Daddy loves you very much."
I wipe my tears and went to the nurse station to identify the bodies. I told them that the one in the morgue is Claire Muhlach and the other one in the ICU is my daughter Gab.
End of FLASHBACK
Buti na lang walang nakapansin sa ginawa ko since DNA na lang talaga ang makakarecognize sa kanilang dalawa dahil sa pagsabog.
"Claire has always been a good bestfriend to Gab. She proved it until her last breathe."
I look at my wife. She kissed her palm then leaned it on the casket.
"Ninang is going to miss my favorite inaanak."
"Anong ginagawa niyo dito???"
"Lei, I'm sorry for your lost. Aga, I'm ---"
"Sorry?! Mabubuhay ba ng sorry mong yan ang anak ko??!"
"Lea, hindi na----"
"Ng dahil sa anak niyo, namatay ang anak ko!"
"Babes, calm down. May mga ibang tao." Aga tries to tell her but it seems like she did not hear him.
"Bakit kailangang idamay niyang anak niyo si Claire sa lahat ng kalokohan niya?! Bakit ---- Bakit kailangang mamatay ang anak ko para sa anak niyo?! Bakit siya??! Naging mabuting kaibigan lang naman ang anak ko e! Bakit humantong sa ganito ang lahat?!"
I'm sorry, Lea, but I cannot see my wife just as how I see you now.
"Patawarin mo kami, Lea. Inaanak ko si Claire. Masakit din para sa akin na mawala siya." Dawn pleases them. Lea and Aga will never forget about this. And I understand that.
"Kasalanan 'to lahat ng anak mong makasarili! Kung hindi niyo lang siya hinayaang umalis ng bahay, edi sana hindi na siya kailangang samahan ni Claire! Edi sana hindi sila sumakay sa yate! Edi sana buhay pa ang anak ko ngayon!!! Hinding-hindi ko kayo mapapatawad! Simula sa araw na 'to, hindi na tayo makakaibigan! Hindi ko na kayo kaano-ano! Umalis na kayo! Umalis na kayo!"
"Lea, please... Don't do this... I'm sorry."
"Love, let's go. Let's give them space. We're really sorry, Lea, Aga."
"We don't need your apology. We don't need you here. Get out!"
"Lea." Aga look back at us.
"Richard, umalis na lang kayo, please." I nod at him then take Dawn and we leave.
