We all stepped out of the light, and I could see moonlight shining onto the grassy animal pastures of Havenfield. My vision blurred a bit when a cold blast of wind blew into my face.
As soon as I could see my surroundings again, I ran to Grady who was trying to feed Verdi. "Grady!!" I yelled. "Have you seen Ryan?" He looked confused. "I haven't seen him since you guys left." He responded. "Ok thanks."
I shivered again when more wind came, and said, "stay here. I'll be right back. Ima go get a sweatshirt." "Ok, I'm also super fricking cold, so ima come to. You brought like three sweatshirts here, right?" Callan asked, following me in.
"Yeah, and I did, my black CMD hoody, my green camp woodstock sweatshirt, and the black and pink sweatshirt." I responded. "Cool, I want the green one." He said. "Ok, fine. I was going to get the black one anyway."
Callan and I walked back outside after about two minutes, and saw that everyone was already up at the panakes. When I reached the tree, I saw a little note. It said,
Hi again. The next clue is,
Where I am is somewhere you know, where I am, is a place filled with snow and ice. Somewhere filled with memories of racing, with skis so nice. (I know the last part is cringeworthy but I had to make it more clear.)
The Callan caught up to me, and we all read the clue. "Um, Antarctica?" Sophie guessed. "No, I've never been there." I said. "OH I KNOW! It's Ski Ward!"
"What's Ski Ward?" Biana asked. "It's a place you go skiing at." Callan replied. "Ok, so how will we get there?" I asked. "Well, we could teleport." Robin suggested. We made our way over to the cliff, and I yelled "ARE WE ALL READY?" Everyone responded with a yes, as we jumped off the cliff.
I focused on Ski Ward, and thunder cracked. I must have gotten a little distracted, because when we came out of the void, we were about 20 feet in the air. I screamed and we landed in the soft and fluffy snow. Ryan was nowhere to be seen, so I started walking to the top.
At first I only saw some specks of red in the snow, but then the trail got bigger and I started running after it. The trail went into the woods and I kept following, ignoring the scratches on my arm from the branches, because I was used to them.
I thought back to my old house, and the woods behind them. I would go out there everyday in the summer, including the rainy days. That was the best time to go, it's so cool to be in the woods when it rains.
I came to a clearing, and Ryan was laying there with a pool of blood around him. I screamed and could hear Callan come up to me. He gasped. "We have to hail someone. Do you have your imparter?"
Everyone shook their head. Then I realized that there was a symbol in the snow. It was The Neverseen eye, made out of blood. Fitz and Keefe rushed forward and picked up Ryan, and we jumped off the small cliff into the void.
