Chapter 3-Friends

Clementine's POV

The bell just rang and that reminded me... Violet told me to sit with them at lunch, Im afraid they'll bully me..But..The boy with dreads, Louis, He seems nice. Maybe this school is different from my old school..

I walk into the cafeteria and Minerva waves at me. I go over to their table
"Guys this is Clementine, we met during history." Minerva told the others
"Welcome to our school Clementine" A guy with a weird haircut told me "Im Marlon,"
After they introduced me to everyone I finally sat down and started talking.. It felt nice to have friends again.. I was kinda suprised about this group. There were twins,theres a lesbian (Im not judging k?), another couple, a quiet guy, etc.

"So Clementine.." Louis faced me
"Hmm?"
"We wanna get to know you so.."
He pulled out a stack of cards
"Oh god im gonna do my homework" Brody walked off
Mitch,Aasim,Ruby and Omar also left. The twins stayed for the game
"Highest card gets to ask and lowest card gets to answer" he said with a smile on his face
We flipped our cards. Sophie got the highest and Marlon got the lowest.
"So, Marlon...How do you feel about Brody?" She said while trying to hold back her laughter
"I uh...."
"You already know he's got a major crush on her" Violet laughed as she said that
"Okay I like her. There I said it" Marlon said while his face was red
Everyone started laughing
"Just..Shut up"
Everyone flipped their cards again
Violet got the highest and Clementine got the lowest
"Clementine..Is your father Mr. Everett from class?"
"Uh..Well..." I was hesitant to answer
"She doesn't have to answer" Louis said
"No its fine. He's my adoptive father after my parents died.." I tried not to show that I was sad, I didnt want to ruin the game
After a few more rounds we went back to class..

I had P.E next with Sophie,Violet,Marlon and Louis. I actually couldn't tell the difference between the two twins if it weren't for their hair length. Anyway the guys went in the gym already and we went into the girls locker room.
"Shit.." I said embarrassed at myself
"Whats wrong?" Violet asked
"I didnt bring my gym clothes.."
"You can borrow mine. I brought an extra" Sophie said happily
"Thanks!"
After we got changed we went into the gym.

Louis's POV

Marlon asked me if I liked Clementine
Of course i said as a friend but I kinda lied.. I do have a little crush on her..But just a little bit..
"Hey dude snap out of it!" Marlon snapped his fingers at me
"Sorry just zoned out"
"What thinking about Clementine?"
"Oh my god just shut up"
"Revenge"
"That was Sophie and Violet!"
"Whatever. You still totally like Clementine"
"Dude I said I liked her as a friend"
"Well thats about to change, look over there dude" he pointed at the girls
Louis saw Clem in her gym clothes and started blushing
Louis put his face in his hands
"What the fuck man?!" I told him "dude are you implying that she looks good in the gym clothes?"
"Hey i was about to tell you that she was wearing Sophie's gym clothes. You said it, not me"
He laughed at me
"So you think Clementine looks good?" He held back his laughter
"L-look! She just looks nice in those gym clothes, nothing else" I turned away from him. My face was bright red
"Whatever you say bro" he smirked

Clementine's POV
Its finally after school, we were talking in front of the building. Just chatting about random things

Then Lee called me on my cellphone
"Hey sweetpea, time to go"
"Alright I'll be there in a few minutes"
I turned back to my friends
"Gotta go Clemmy?" Louis teased
"Dont call me Clemmy" "And yes i have to go"
"Go before he tries to set up another card game child" Violet laughed
"Oh wait!" Sophie said "Could we get your number so we can add you to our groupchat?"
"Sure"
I wrote down my phone number and gave it to Sophie, Since she's the leader of the groupchat.
I waved goodbye and went to Lee's car
"Hey sweetpea" He told me "How was first day of school?"
"It was actually pretty good!" I said happily "I made some friends
"Thats good. I told you it wouldnt be so bad"
We got in the car and drove home

I actually enjoy making this story a lot, even if not many people will read it, I'll try to make another chapter later. Thanks for reading ❤
