Chapter 17-Confessions

Clementine's POV
It was about 6 am and we just got out of that hole
"Oh thank god you two are okay!" Kenny said
"Holy shit Clem are you okay?!" Violet said
Violet,Minnie,Sophie,Brody, Lila,Ruby and Mariana hugged me
"We thought you would've died!" Mariana said
"Are you okay?! Thank God you came out of there alive!" Lila said
"Do not EVER leave us again!" Minnie said
"Dont worry guys im fine..Just sprained my ankle. And I wont leave you guys. Dont worry"
We headed back to the cabin where I collapsed on a couch

"Here let me take a look at that for you" Ruby said. She bandaged up my ankle
Louis went to go sleep because he barely slept at all last night..Speaking of last night..That kiss...
"Hey Clem you alright?" Brody waved at me
"Oh yeah..Just tired"
"You should get some rest. It must've been cold down there"
"Yeah.."
"Clem!" I heard
AJ ran up and layed ontop of me
"Clem! Your okay!" He squeezed me tight
"Dont worry kiddo im fine"
"Your foot doesn't look fine"
"Its gonna heal up."
It got to the point where I couldnt breathe anymore. AJ got heavier than before damn.
"Hey kiddo why dont you go hug Louis?"
He got off of me thank goodness
"Good idea!" He went upstairs into Louis's room

Louis's POV

I was sleeping soundly in my bed. Thinking about that kiss... When
*BANG!*
The door smashed open and AJ hugged me
"Woah! Hey there little dude"
"Hey Louis! Your okay!"
"Of course"
"I thought you and Clem were gone" he said with a sad face
"Aw dont worry AJ. We're fine"
"Thats good"
"Why dont you take a nap with me AJ?"
"Okay!"
He grabbed his blanket and his little pillow and went onto my bed. He fell asleep. And so did I about a few minutes later.

Clementine's POV

I cant stop thinking about that kiss..God it felt so nice..But then I realized...He's with Lila..Oh shit. This is not good..What if she finds out I just kissed her fucking boyfriend? She seems so happy to be with him..
"Hey Clem you alright?" Lila sat down next to me with a tray of hot chocolate
"Yeah im fine.."
"I brought you some hot chocolate. It must've been freezing down there"
"Thanks..And Yeah it was pretty cold down there" I said "but not so much thanks to Louis" I mumbled under my breath
"Hm?"
"Oh its nothing"
She handed me the hot chocolate and I drank some of it
"So Clem.."
"Yeah?"
"What do you think of Louis?"
"I-I um.. What do you mean?"
"Like..What do you think of him? As a friend? Bestfriend?"
"He's um..My bestfriend definitely..I did use to have a crush on him-" I stopped because I just realized I said I liked Louis to his GIRLFRIEND
She was silent
"Oh my gosh Seriously!" She smiled and laughed
"H-Huh? You're not mad?"
"Why would I be mad silly? It was before! Its fine!" She giggled "You two would've made a cute couple"
My face was super red
"Do you still like him?"
"Huh what? N-No! Of course not! He's your boyfriend!"
She giggles
"Im just messing with you Clem" she laughed "Enjoy your hot chocolate. I gotta go to the bathroom"

Lila's POV
I just entered the bathroom. So..Clem liked Louis before huh? If Louis liked Clem then..They can get together..And I can be with Gabe again..I'll have to confess tonight..Who would've thought Clem and Louis? They are so much better together than me and him.

A few hours later..

Louis's POV

We were just chilling by the lockers talking random shit
"Hey theres a new girl over there" Mitch pointed
I looked at her and she looked at our group and looked down
"She seems lonely" I thought "But why would a pretty girl like her have no friends?" I kept on staring and she fell
I quickly ran to help her
"Are you okay?" I reached my hand to help her
She looked me in the eyes. Holy shit her honey colored eyes were so beautiful.. Her hair was curly and tied in two buns she was super cute and pretty. My heart was beating fast. She was like an Angel that god had sent to me. She took my hand. Her hand was soft. Shit I got distracted.. I smiled at her and she gave a slight smile and walked away. Damn I didnt get her name.. She is one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen.
"Hey Louis. LOUIS!"

I woke up and saw Mitch in the room "Louis wake up man. Its time for dinner"
"Yeah okay..I'll be out in a sec"
Mitch left the room. I got my coat and went outside. That dream..When I first saw her.. It gave me butterflies in my stomach
After dinner I just layed on my bed thinking about Clementine
Then I heard a knock on the door
"Come in"
Lila came in and closed the door
"Hey Louis, We need to talk"
I sat up on my bed
"About?"
She sighs
"I have a confession"
"Did something happen?"
"Look Louis, I know we're being forced to marry but.. I just don't like you that way. I like you as a friend. Nothing more. I like someone else..I-I hope you're not mad"
"Lila.. Its fine"
"Really?"
"Of course. It is forced after all. And besides. I like someone else too.."
"Clementine?"
"H-How did you-"
"Violet and Sophie told me"
"Dammit Vi and Soph"
We both laugh
"But what about our parents?" I asked
"We'll just have to act I guess."
It was silent
"Soooo Louis..."
"Yeah?"
"Did anything happen down there with Clem?"
"Huh? No...?"
She laughs
"Dont lie Louis. I saw lipstick on your lip when you came out of that hole"
I panicked oh shit.. My face was red as hell
"Oh my gosh.." she said "YOU TWO KISSED!"
"SHHHH LILA!"
She starts laughing like crazy
"Oh. My. God! You two kissed! Tsk tsk Louis!"
"DO NOT. I REPEAT DO NOT TELL SOPHIE AND VIOLET"
"I wont.."she said "but I will tell Marlon!" She runs out of the room
"Lila!" I run after her
