Chapter 18-Christmas party

Louis's POV

Lila ran down the stairs looking for Marlon. She saw him on the couch and yelled "Hey Marlon! Brody! I got something to tell ya!"
I quickly tackled Lila and covered her mouth. All you could her was her muffled voice
"Shh! Quiet!"
"What the hell bro? Whats going on?" Marlon asked
"N-Nothing!"
Brody and Marlon looked at each other and shrugged
I got off Lila and collapsed on the couch
"Jesus christ Lila"
She giggled
"Whaaat? You're not gonna tell your own bestfriend about your first kiss?"
"Hell no. Not yet at least"
"But-"
"Hey you two" Violet says "Mind helping us with the decorations for the Christmas party?"
"We're having a Christmas party?"
"I mean Its our first Christmas with Clem! So why not?"
"Thats a good idea" Lila said "This is the time around her parents died.. It should be a good way to take her mind off it"
Lila went to go help Violet,Minnie and Sophie while I went to find Clem

"Im glad we're friends again Clem"
Gabe said as he walked away
"Hey Clem" I greeted her
"Oh..H-Hey Louis" She looked away from me
"Clem..You alright?"
"Yeah Just tired thats all.."
"Clem..I know you feel awkard about that kiss"
She stayed silent
"But look Clem.. Its okay"
"No its not. Louis you have a fucking girlfriend.."
"Look Clem. You already know its forced marriage. Lila and I confessed that we both like someone else. The person I like is you Clem."
I saw her face turn pink
"Why me?" She asked
"Because you're not like the others. You're special to me"
She turned to me and hugged me
I saw a smile on her face.
We pulled back from each other,smiled and went back to help the others

Clementine's POV

Did...Did Louis just say..He likes me?? Like, Like-Like me? I dont know what to say...Gah! Im getting distracted again! Think about it later Clementine. You've got some work to do

I see Minnie and Violet putting something on the doorway
"Im too short!" Violet says
"I'll help you up cutie" Minnie puts Violet on her shoulders and Violet puts a decoration
"Hey guys you need help?"
"Nope. We got it! Go help Tenn,Willy,And AJ with the Christmas tree decorations though. They might knock down the tree" Minnie says
"Okay"

I go over to Willy,Tenn,And AJ who are decorating the tree
"Hey guys need some help?"
"Yeah. We're too short to reach the top of the tree. Mind putting the decorations and the star on top?" Willy says

After about what feels like 1 hour of helping everyone with everything I finally fall onto my bed drifting away..
But of course with a lodge full of 16 people I cant have that peace.
"Clem!" AJ runs through the door "Cmon we have to get ready for the party!"
"Alright just give me a minute.."
I get up and dress AJ as a little Rudolph. He's super cute. I dress myself in a white dress with white stockings and head outside.

I hear music,See colorful lights,smell amazing sweets being cooked and head down
"Heya Clementine!" Brody waves "Isnt this great? Its so fun!"
"Yeah I know! The decorations are beautiful"
"Its our first Christmas with you so its gotta be special"
I smile and talk to the others.
After a bit of talking,eating and of course, partying. I rest against the wall
"Long day huh?"
I see Louis infront of me
"Yeah it has been. Im tired as hell.."
"Its only 8pm. Brody and Sophie could party much longer
"Oh god really?"
"Yep"
We both laugh
"Hey!" Violet shouts at us "look up you two!" She giggles
We both look up and oh shit... Mistletoe
"Oh shit" Me and Louis say at the same time
"Eeee!" Sophie squeals "kiss!"
By the time Sophie says that everyone's looking at us and chanting "Kiss!"
Me and Louis look at each other and blush
"Do it!" Mitch yells
Louis wraps his hands around my waist and I wrap my arms around his neck. We both kiss each other
"WOOOO!" Everyone yells
Sophie and Violet jump like rabbits shouting "OH MY GOD!"
Me and Louis pull away blushing like crazy
"This is amazing!" Tenn yells
"Goddamn girl!" Lila shouts "You two are super cute together!"
I ran over to the couch and put ny face in a pillow. Hugging my legs
Brody comes up to me
"That was sooo cute!" Brody squeals
"Ugh god shut up.." I look away
"Haha oh my gosh your face is so red!"
Brody's Mom comes up to me
"That was super cute Clementine" she winks
Oh god this is gonna be a long night of teasing

Louis's POV

Holy shit did we just kiss in front of everyone? I cant tell if I want this to be real or not. I quickly run to the kitchen
"Damn man" Omar looks at me "That was awesome"
"God please shut up"
Marlon and Aasim come in
"Wow dude, never thought you'd get a girlfriend" Aasim chuckles
"Dude what the hell? She's not my girlfriend"
"But that was really cute" Marlon laughs "You two are super cute together"
My face was already red enough from kissing Clem. It got even more red from the teasing.
