Chapter 23-Prom pt 2-

Clementine's POV

We were just talking about prom after school outside. And of course being that our group is mostly has couples. Of course they're already going to prom together
"Our parents are making us go to prom together" Louis sighs
"But we could do the switch like on that Valentine's date" Lila says
Louis and I look away from each other blushing
"Aw come on you two!" Violet whines "stop being so awkward and start being a couple"
Louis scratches the back of his neck while I cross my arms
Louis and I aren't a couple...But I cant say that we're just friends either
"So you guys already have your dresses?" Lila says
Me and the other girls look at each other
"WHAT?! Not yet?! Are you kidding? We are going shopping after school!"
"Well alright then" I say
"please dont tell me im the one wearing the dress"
Minerva looks down at Violet
"Ugh of course I am" she whines
"You're super cute when you whine" Minnie kisses her cheek

(After school)

"Bye Lee! Bye Carley! Im going out with my friends!" I say to them
"Okay sweetpea" Lee replies "Stay safe and be back before 9!"
I go out and see Brody's mom with their minivan and the girls inside
I go into the van
"Hey guys!"
"Hey Clem" Violet greets me "Ready for 6 miserable hours?"
"Aw come on it wont be that bad!" Lila says "Dont you guys wanna get voted cutest couple? Or prom queen or king?"
"I'd rather not" Violet says "too much trouble"
"Prom king and queen huh? That would be an absolute dream" Brody says.
We drive over to a mall and go inside.

"Alright yall" Ruby says "where to first?"
"We have to get Makeup , Dresses, Accessories and shoes" Lila says
"NOO!" Violet whines "not makeup!"
"I'd only wear eyeshadow,eyeliner and lipstick" Sophie says
"I'd rather wear none" Violet says
"Yeah cuz you're already cute without any makeup" Minnie flirts
"Okay you two. I think thats enough mushy stuff for now" I say "So what are we doing first?"
"Lets go dress shopping first!" Brody says excitedly

We go to a very expensive looking store
Brody,Sophie, and Ruby dash off immediately seeing beautiful gowns
I sit down waiting for them
"Hey Clem" Lila comes up to me "Aren't you gonna choose something?"
"Nah my mon is making my dress. I think its colored blue" I told her
"Well lucky you get a free dress" Brody pouts "this emerald green one is expensive AF! Like 900 dollars!"
"Oooh look Vi!" Minnie says "This one would look super cute on you"
"You're not giving up on me wearing purple aren't you?"
"Never"
After about 2 hours we leave the dress shop.
"Man mom and dad are gonna kill us" Sophie says "We spent almost 2000 dollars for two dresses and a tux"
"Shoes next" Lila says
We go over to a shoe store. I buy some dark blue flats with white glitter as stars cresent moons on the tip as decoration
Another 2 hours later we go over to makeup
I just buy blue eyeshadow because im pretty sure Carley has lots of makeup at home.
For accessories I buy a headband with a cresent moon on it and a pair of blue long blue gloves because I dont really like showing of my body much. So I try to cover up most of the time.

After about 6 or 7 hours of pained shopping. We get back into the van and collapsed. I finally got home at 8:40 pm and went inside
"Hey Clem! I have a suprise for you" Carley says
"Sure, Im coming" I place my shopping bags on the counter and go into Carley's office
