Chapter 10- Rivals or Friends?

Clementine's POV

I stood there in disbelief seeing Gabe..
"I-I gotta go.." I said while already walking away.
It hurts to be reminded of...Nevermind..
I walked out and sat on a bench waiting for my friends to finish
"Clem!" AJ hugs me
"Hey kiddo" i said
"The haunted house was so cool!" He said happily
"Thats great"
Minnie walks out with Vi in her arms
"Vi we're out now you can stop hiding under my scarf"
"No way. Im staying here" she says
"She jumped into Minerva's arms when a clown jumped at her" Sophie snickers
"Not my fault that clown was ugly"
They notice Clem wasn't paying attention
"Clem?" Marlon waves at her face
"O-Oh..Sorry..." I replied "Im just tired from everything
"Come on. I'll take you home." Marlon said "I live near you"
Marlon calls his parents and they take Clem home

I went up to my room quietly..Lee and Carley were already asleep

I sat on my bed thinking about everything..
"Please just say Gabe is visiting the town...Please dont let him go to my school" I thought
Then I got a text from Louis

   Louis

Louis:heya Clem

Clem:Hi lou...

Louis:something wrong????

Clem:No..Im fine :)

Louis:You sure?

Clem:Yeah. Anyway how was your date?

Louis:It was Okay

Clem:Lila is a good person. You'll get to like her

Louis:I know. I just wish my dad wasnt pushing things

Clem:You'll be okay. Shes lucky you know?

Louis:whys that?

Clem:not everyone gets a good boyfriend

Louis:you sayin im a good bf?

Clem:probably not. But you'll get there

Louis:hey!

Me and Louis texted for awhile. We texted until 1 am.. I wish I could be with him..Lila is better than me though..He'll be happier with her..Im sure..

On Monday..

I went to school and went to my locker. I put my stuff inside and closed the locker

"Hey Clem.." I heard a voice behind me
I turned around to see Gabe. God he IS going to this school..Of course..
"Oh...Hey Gabe.."  I said while not even looking at him
"Look Clem we need to talk.."
"About?"
"What happened"
"Theres nothimg to talk about Gabe. Just go away" I walked away from him
I walked away and walked over to my friends

"Im Violet. Welcome to our school "
Violet introduced herself to a girl standing next to Louis
"Oh Hey Clem" she saw me "How are you feeling?"
"Better..I guess.."
A girl looked at me
"Clementine?" She said to me
"H-Hi Lila.." I was afraid to talk to her..Back at GNES..Everything was different...I dont want someone to ruin this for me...
Lila ran up and hugged me
"Wait you know her?" Sophie asked
"Yeah...We were uh...Classmates" I told everyone
"Anyway Uh..Lila.. We should get going"
Louis said
"Okay.."
Lila and Louis left

Louis's POV

I cant believe Lila is coming to our school...I cant hang out with my friends.. Lila seems so..Happy..That we're together. But..If I told her the truth..No..I cant do that.. Something would happen to Clem..Is there no way out of this?

Lila's POV

Thank goodness theres no one in this bathroom. This acting is getting harder..I dont wanna be with Louis...He's nice and all but..He's just a friend to me...
I cant believe Clem goes to this school..I hope she's not mad at me for leaving her. I wanna become friends again...
Louis seemed sad..Somethings off.
I washed my face and dried up
Just put a smile on, Pretend to he happy with him..
I went out of the bathroom and went to Louis

While we were walking to class I asked Louis
"Hey louis..What do you think of Clem?
"Huh? Oh shes my bestfriend.." he said with a smile on his face "She's always there for me ya know?"
"Shes a good person. Just broken"
"I dont know much about her past."
"Well..Me and her went to the same school. But she stopped going since her new father couldnt afford it"
"How long have you guys been friends?"
"Awhile..But we stopped talking since she left." I told him "She seems like she's changed a lot. She seems more happier,and stronger"
"She definitely is"
I thought to myself that..Could Louis like Clem? If he does..I could get out of this..Im gonna have to stall though..Maybe he's like me.. He wants to be with someone else. I'll have to see..

Sorry this episode sucked so much. I dont really have lots of ideas for the middle part. But I swear the next chapter is gonna be a lot better.. Sorry if you were disappointed
