Chapter 26-Prom pt 5

Louis's POV

We finally arrive at Ericsons. We go into the gym and the decorations,disco ball,dance floor,DJ stand. it all just looks amazing
"You guys made it!" Sophie says
"Damn Clem!" Violet says "You look amazing!"
"Thanks Vi" she replies
"Louis dude" Marlon whispers to me "You think I'll do great at dancing?"
"Of course man" I reply "Brody will have a suprise"
"Wheres your date Soph?" Omar asked
"Up on the DJ stand"
"So Mitch is our DJ huh?" Lila said
"I have a feeling Mitch will throw up in the process of the slow dancing" Minnie said
After a bit of talking everyone went with their own dates. Me and Clem by the stage
"I never actually thought that I would make it this far" Clem said
"Why not?"I asked
"I dont know, My friendships dont usually last this long"
"Well Clemmy it lasts forever for us"
She gave me a smile
"You're so cute when you smile"
She started to blush a little
Then we heard slow music playing
"Oh shit" I heard her mumble
Shes not the dancer type huh?
"Hey Clem follow me" I give her my hand
She takes my hand and we sneak out of the gym
"Louis? Where are we going?" She asks me
"You'll see"
I take the keys out of my pocket and unlock the music room
I close and lock the door behind us
"Why are we in here?" She asks
"Well I figured that from you little mumbling earlier that you dont wanna dance so I thought we could hang it here"
She gives me a smile and sits down next to me
Thinking of a way to flirt I sing

Sandals were for Clementine

I give her a little wink and she giggles
"You are such a flirt" she playfully punches me
"I know" I give her a smile and start playing a song that I wrote
"What are you playing?" She asks
"A-" I was cut off by her saying "And dont say a piano"
"Damn you're smart" I say "A song that I wrote"
"Oh really? Whats it called?"
"I dont know yet"
After I finished playing
"There first time played. We should mark the occasion"
I pull out a small knife and put the initial "L" on it and hand it to her.
She writes her initial next to mine
"You done tattooing that piano?" I ask
She looks and me then puts a heart around our initials. Oh shit im getting butterflies in my stomach
"Oh um...Thats..Thats a potato?" I say jokingly
She looks at me at the verge of laughing
"Its a heart yep. Okay I see.. Cool. Really cool" I smile
She smiles back
"Im gonna dig myself in a deep hole which I'll never emerge. Cool? Cool. Time to get serious"
"Wow serious? Are you feeling okay?"
"No, Not really Clem...Im getting married next month.. I just dont know anymore" I look away from her
"I dont want to..Because...I don't love her and..."
"And?"
"...Because I want to date you"
I looked at her shocked expression
"I know that im getting married but...Clem? Would you be my girlfriend..?"
She was silent for a few seconds until.

Her lips were against mine.. God it felt like our first kiss all over again. I calmed down forgetting my problems again..It was amazing..
She pulled away from the kiss and said
"Well hows that for an answer?"
I chuckles while she giggled
"Come on"She said smiling "we gotta go back"
We both go back into the gym
"Hey where were you guys?" Sophie asked
"Probably making out" Violet replied
"Because that's what Lila and Gabe did when they weren't dancing"
Me and Clem slightly blushed as it was kinda true.
"So you said I couldn't do it huh?" I hear Marlon say
"S-Shut up.."I saw Brody blushing talking to Marlon
"Well looks like he really did sweep her off her feet" Omar said
Then we heard an announcement up on stage
"Hello students!" Our principal said "Its time to vote for cutest couple and Prom king and Queen!"
"Well we already know whcih Couple is definitely going to be the cutest" Ruby said
After voting and shit. Me and Clem got cutest couple! Damn my face is red.. we heard cheering from the whole school. Hell even the teachers.

We got down from the stage as some other people won Prom king and Queen. But thats alright as long as I have my Clem.
"Told you guys you would win Cutest couple!" Violet said
"We took lots of pictures of you and Clem FYI" Lila said
I saw Clem blush a little
I wrapped my arm around her and gave her a kiss on the cheek
"So cute! You are definitely cutest couple" Sophie said
"Louis you are just making them fangirl" She said pouting
"What? I cant show my affection to my girlfriend?" I said
They looked at us as if we had given a gun to a child
"YAYYYYY!" Lila,Violet,And Sophie screamed
"Well you finally admitted that shes your girlfriend dude" Marlon said
"Oh god im gonna barf" Mitch said
After everyone was done fangirling or barfing it was already 10pm. Everyone started to go home

But me and Clem went to the park together. Sitting on the grass watching the stars
"Your so beautiful Clem"
"I know" she smiled
"I know that its early to say this but..I love you Clementine"
I saw her shocked expression turn into a smile with blush
"I love you too Louis" she looked at me
I put my hand on her cheek
And we shared a passionate kiss under the moonlight
